When I start a game, the textures go way out of wack

When i start up the game, everything is fine with the menu and selecting my stats and stuff, but when i actually start the game its good for about 1/4 of a second before the textures go crazy and the game freezes.


any help?

Video card drivers up to date?

Also, it may be worth opening the config file and checking the texture amount and render buffer are at the correct settings for your card.
