When heroes leave you do they disappear forever?

I know this is kind of a noob question, but I just picked up almost everyone without looking at the guide. Now 2 or 3 of my favorite heroes left me. Will I see them again or are they gone forever (they won't show up at the traveler).

unless you are using some kind of mod that makes them go away forever they will show up in the tavern sooner or later. takes some days though.

As the above poster said, they will start again on their circuit of the taverns, it just takes a while (sometimes more than a week) before they appear again.

Also check out TheMageLords compelation of tweaks, there is a way to disable character interaction so you can have as many as you want.

You can talk to Traveler in tavern to ask about current location of your previous followers.

yea but they need to spawn first and that will take some days
