Hello everyone,
As the title says, I'm wondering what makes a siege end, when you're the one attacking?
Of course, when the defenders are in small numbers, you have to kill all of them. When there's many of them, however, the enemy stops spawning at some point (in my case, it's mostly after I incapacitated 100-150 of them). Then, I conquer the city while it technically should have many defenders left.
The amount of enemies I must defeat before they stop spawning is never the same. That's why I'm wondering: what does it depend on? Does the end of a battle depend on the amount of killed enemies? On time? On battle size? On the sizes of the armies? On campaign difficulty...?
Thanks for your help!
