Roach

Sergeant at Arms
Was it taking out three Swadian knights on one run with your lance?

Was it watching a Dark Knight charge your peasants and get brutally hacked down?

What keeps you coming back for more?

The one that sticks in my mind was taking on a dozen Khergits at level 10 with just a greatsword. Every slash seemed to hit, blood fountaining everywhere, Khergits dropping like flies, the screams of dying men and horses. I had game that day.

:D The time I went totally insane; 20 so health, half the battle finished, crippled horse...About 30-35 left in the Swadian Warparty.

Bang. Slit. Hiss  Every hit with my bow proved leathal for the numb-skulls. I have no idea how I did it...But it was some damn good fun!

When I wiped out a Dark Hunters warband with my Bastard Sword. I did have a huge army of swadian peasents, but the Hunters wiped them out with about one death. Then I killed 'em all because my peasents had managed to unhorse most of them and I was on a Heavy Courser :)

(with the Battle Size Changer)

making one pass through about 30 river pirates with my Heavy Charger, then circling around, charging again, and seeing '<player> knocked river pirate unconcious' about 25 times in a row. I nearly passed out

I spawned in the tournament arena and I was already knocked out.

-Thank you Dranton, I lost 20 denars.
-It was a pleasure

Fighting against Khergit Horde( Khan, over 10 Bodyguards, near 20 Cathaphracts, and near 80 Khergit Horsemen) at Mag7 mod with heavy charger, shield and nomad saber.

Wow that was crazy. My party was quickly downed.
That was a real long demonic fight. I won with 2hp :)

When i jumped over a sea raider on my horse in slow motion and impaled an arrow into his plump skull

When I had a Boromir moment...

Well armoured and armed with a Bastard Sword I took on a party of Sea Raiders alone to 'protect' a Kidnapped Girl.

I got into the thick of it, hacking and slashing, Sea Raiders falling all around me, parrying has never been my good stuff but this time it worked perfectly. Then I got hit by an arrow, stumbled back to recover (I risked death at the Sea Raiders around me), fought on, got hit again, stumbled back, parried got another arrow and then finally I was put out of my misery by a gentle axewieling Sea Raider.

I had a perfect headshot aligned with the steppe bandit. I fire....

Headshot, dealt 45 damage!
Borcha was knocked unconscious by Friedrich Von Spakenhof

i was just fallen from the horse. i got rid of that sucker who crippled muy horse with my bradiche, and then, prey of the fury, i got out my heavy crossbow and pointed a bandit on the other side of the battlefield, on a high slope. i shooted and i killed him with one head shot. shot difficulty 9.2. eat this.

Well, I have only been playing for one day now, but trust me, it has accounted for many many hours already. Anyhow, I was a level 4 at the time this happened, but my troops and I joined a fight against some bandits, who would have slaughtered us alone. But the knights on our side evened things out.

It was the biggest battle my men had seen yet. It was quite bloody for us, because my little footmen didn't have much chance against their mounted soldiers. Toward the end of the battle the enemy had the advantage, and I was struck from my horse.

As I watched our last friendly knight go down, I knew I was going to have to defeat 3 knights, on foot... which was pretty hard for me at this stage, considering I had virtually no armor and a crappy broadsword.

I positioned myself near a steep slope, hoping I could get one of the horses caught there. It worked perfectly and I chopped him down and finished him on foot, but got nailed from behind by a second charging knight.

I had almost no life left, but I also managed to chop him down and kill him, after he busted my shield.

One knight remained, and I knew if he hit me I was done for. He began charging and I didn't want to risk it, so I took out my bow. I steadied my aim, released, and put an arrow right through his skull.

It was huge for me because their loot was much better than the crappy items I was getting from the river pirates.

I was alone against about 40 Sea Raiders...

I was in Padded Leather, without a helmet, but I had an Awlpike and a Sword of War, and I was on a Spirited Hunter.

I made a few passes, killing several with the pike, but one lucky bastard with an axe crippled my horse, and I landed right in front of a huge clump of guys.

I pulled out my sword, and swung at the closest one while sidestepping his axe-swing. Killed 'em with a chop to the head. I stepped backwards as his friends moved in with axes, swords, and maces. In the same move backwards, I killed another one. Then, the frenzy began...

After that, I got one kill for every swing (swinging as fast as I could, mind you), and didn't get hit once. About twenty Sea Raiders went down in twenty seconds, and I managed to flee the remaining Raiders with bows.

It's amazing what you can do at level 30.

My party was recently decimated by a battle against raiders who had burned a village and supplies were running low. Nevertheless, I these bandits were a **** that needed wiping up. A swift but violent battle took place on the side of a hill in which all of my men went down. But they didn't go without a fight, taking down a fair number of bandits and unhorsing any riders. I sidestepped around the remaining enemies and backed down the hill onto more level terrain. I was armed with only my poleaxe and a stack of javelins and my health was dangerously low after taking a stray arrow to the chest. I knew that I would be swarmed if I attacked head-on. I had to even the odds.

The bandits knew they had me on the run and advanced in a group. There must have been about 8 of them, all heavily armed. As soon as the bandits were in range I went to work, hefting a javelin I launched it into their midst taking little time to aim. They had not expected this tactic, and being in a tight pack they had nowhere to run. *CRACK* the javelin smashed into the leader's skull, shattering it and spraying those behind him with blood and brains. Quickily pulling out another javelin, I heaved the next one into a bandit's neck. He didn't even have time to yell before he fell backward into the group quickly advancing on me. I backed up more, calculating how much room I had to the river at the base of the hills. *Smack* *Thump* *Crack* bandits fell left and right. Each javelin found its target with pinpoint accuracy. A trail of bloody bodies lead from the foot of the hills closer to the river.

I reached for more javelins but found my supply had finally ran out. Two bandits remained and I had my back to the water. I knew that with my heavier armor I would be an easy target if I tried to run any further. One option remained. I lifted my poleaxe above my head and with a great war cry ran at the last attackers.

How does the story end? Well - i'm here to tell it ain't I?

Welcome to the forums Callon.

My favourite moment would have to be the first time i soloed a swadian patrol (well, it was a solo after about 10 seconds :) ).

The battle was tense, and i lost my horse twice, but i managed to dehorse some knights with my war bow and take the horse that they no longer needed :)

My favourite moment to date was seeing Borcha throw a javelin into a mounted enemy's head, killing them in dramatic style. Gotta love it! :)

Sitting on a hilltop in thick fog, single-handedly picking off 45 sea raiders with my newly bought sniper crossbow, bringing my crossbow skill up from 30-something to over 106.

Taking out an swadian war party, (108 swadians), with few vaegir knights, a sword of war and war bow with 54 bodkin arrows.

Attacking a river pirate group att lv 4 alone and discover that it had 2 swadian Men at Arms and one Swadian Knight in it together with 8 river pirate.

It was a hard battle with my trusty Riding Horse and Falcion and Round shield with bow and arow as bakup. The knight when down first after i gott his horse . And then the men at arms was on me with lances but after allot of rideby shotings i got them to. Then killing the Riverpirates was a pice of cake.
