What's the name of that armor? And where can I find it?

It's 'Mail and Plate', and I'm fairly sure you can't buy it anymore. You used to be able to get it in previous versions of M&B, but it is no longer on sale unless I'm very much mistaken. Since you can't get armour and weapons from lords I don't think you'll be able to use that armour, although I'm sure there will be a way to put it in shops by editing the game files. I don't know how to do it myself, but try looking on the modding subforum on how to get it in game.

You can use the unoffical editor to flag the armour as sellable from merchants.

Actually you can buy if you enable 'Merchandise' in this item in the Item Editor =D

Light mail and plate was the red one WarlordG, the blue one is the standard mail and plate with slightly better defence (38 body rather than 32 as I recall).

You don't really need the item editor to enable the merchandise flag. All you need is notepad and Windows calculator.

1. Open item_kinds1.txt in Notepad
2. Find the items you want to modify.

All you need to do is to 'OR' the red numbers with 0x00010000 (which is 65536 as decimal). To do that, run the Windows Calculator (Start -> Run -> Calc), then type 16777229 and click 'OR' and type 65536.

16777229 OR 65536 = 16842765

Then replace the red numbers with the green one.

Changing a number in a text file is easy enough IMO.

you can also get old armors like black one or mail and plate/light mail and plate in some mods.
In Sword of damocles you've got a jester to cheat armors... it's really helpful to get mail and plate and stuff like that
