What's one thing you don't want Taleworlds to implement in Bannerlord?

The removal of multiplayer customization.

For me, the server monitization policy. It completely killed off multiple mods and if they want to destroy their game that’s a perfect way to do it.

Mordhau out-customises Warband and is celebrated for it. Bannerlord has the potential to do even more (such as with custom weapons) and they instead opt to force you to play specific classes because they think boringly rigid balance will get them esports twitchbux or so. It's so silly.

I've just checked my very first post in the forum, back in early 2008: I suggested to increase the possibilities of gear customization

If I knew that more than 10 years later they would literally dump it in what would become my favorite part of the game... :facepalm:

You've mentionned that you do modding. Would you be able to mod Warband's customization system back in, or is that outside your skillset?
 
Multiplayer customization. Just like how age of empires 3 is a total failure to its predecessor (age of empire 2) because it didn't improve on its already good gameplay features but downgraded.A majority of the community does not want this, only some tryhard medieval roleplayers that play caladria roleplay 24/7 seem to want it.

No i don't have any of your "statistics" about who wants or who does not want it. But asking around a server about that is not hard to do. Have met no one except on the forums who seem to want this feature. Most players are not even aware of it because they didn't read blog number 1596.

Don't get me wrong, I still loved EU4, but I think CK2 tackles mana quite better - Prestige, for example, is still mana, but it is far easier to roleplay my character not being prestigious enough to claim a piece of land, than it is to roleplay my country not having some abstract resource to explore some land.

Influence seems to be taking the EU4 route, where-as in there is little to no roleplay involved with it. It is just a variable. Have enough of it, no matter how you got it, you can get stuff. Else **** off.

Warband always has been about freedom, modding and customization. You can say all you want but i can assure you if the new system will stay permanently, the multiplayer servers will be much more less populated as opposed if you were to give the freedom to equip whatever you want

I don't know how much multiplayer you play or have played, but native multiplayer servers are all about fun. Not any of that "i want to be able to identify my teammates without banners above their head because immersion and because i get destroyed by naked plebs" nonsense

Singleplayer is something you can have as much immersion as you want. Multiplayer is a completely different beast

Outside my skillset, I mainly make models actually. Anyway MP mods split the community and I don't really like that. I wish the old system was still there as an option. They completely got rid of it just because their crappy "competitive skirmish mode" that no one will play needed "balance". It's incomprehensible.

Singleplayer is something you can have as much immersion as you want. Multiplayer is a completely different beast

But such a uniformization of equipments is not even immersive as it did not exist in medieval times. Medieval armies were very diverse, nothing to do with the awful armies of clones we got:

*GASP* You take that back. AOE3 was so damn fun! Even AOE: Online was too. They were both very similar to AOE/2 gameplay even if one was during the gunpowder era and one was a F2P.

I can agree on age of empires online, i used to play it and the whole progress thingy and quests was really great. It was perhaps not mod friendly but the quests about defeating the kingdoms on legendary were darn fun.

Age of empires 3 was not that great imo, the entiere home cities was a good concept but unbalanced as hell, the natives outpost thingy was also great about it. I just wish it has more civilization and a different time era
 
I risk being removed from forums for this, but AoE3 is the only game of the series I actually liked and still play every now and then.

Still not as good as Warlords Battlecry series, but it scratched the right itch with every skirmish adding to some overall progress. I'd love if we had more games like this.
 
With all this outcry for Warband's multiplayer from the community, I think TW should include "classic mode" servers and monitor their popularity to decide if it's going to be an official game mode.

I like this.

I would like for there to be no un-disable-able "luck" system such as there is in Warband SP. I mean, I am fine with permanent injuries as a difficulty factor, but one should also have the option of disabling them.

Hahaha, yeah that was an aggravating mini-game. Luckily in Viking Conquest and some mods the cows follow...which is fine. Plus, it's food if you need it in the field.

Kinda reminded me of playing billiards with a herd of cows, I found it entertaining... :wink:

Another thing I don't want: a level cap in single player. INFINITE LEVELS thanks.

Soldiers and companions that block their commander's way. Who doesn't hate that? Who else feels this is a must?

Quite annoying being stuck by your own men.  Though at least from videos, it looks like horse's have better MOVE ASIDE power. Not sure if this will translate to on-foot movement.
