Warband is not available in my local shop physically, though original Mount&Blade is available.
If the shopkeepers don't import Warband in India, I am going to kill them!!

So just wait a bit... it will be on sale soon! You can also "ask" for it from some big game-distribution company in India.

As you all know, my game crashed. Now I have just started a new game.
I am playing 'Open Source Project'.

Day 15:- I am doing nothing but trading, my speciality. Again my character is a trader. So, I am trying to get money above 10,000 denars, but I currently have only 23 denars. Playing as character named Weronius, it is a pleasant time in Calradia. I found a new route lying over Rhodoks, Sarranids and Swadians. I am trying to get 10,000 denars because I will start a Winery in Jelkala or Yalen. Then I am planning to sell all wine to wine-thirsty Sarranids.

I posses an army of 20 peasants, totally and utterly stupid peasants, they don't even stay in formation when I tell them to follow me.

Drive your peasants to the training fields, and give them a good beat...  they will level up a bit.
Actually.......that seems........hard. But I will try it. Thanks!
BTW, can you tell me which companion is good enough for training?

Lezalit is the 'trainer' companion, but really any companion with high INT will do, typically the medic. I always use Jeremus as my main trainer. But really, once you get past the first five or so levels, invest any spare skill points on training. All my companions have some level of training skill.

Also, if you're a trader, you can probably afford mercs, right.

I made entire army out of companions, so that I wont be feeling lonely in battle, or 'Alone In The Dark'.

Merc are good, but very costly upkeep they have. So I gave each companion a good horse in their inventory, so that they can ride it when they will have skill.

Also, Jeremus is a good teacher. I use him as a 'Portable Field Hospital' and gave him training book, that enhances his skills. I am now trying to make a good fighter out of him. He now has my rusty old sword which I got from starting instead of a staff.

Marnid is a helpful trader. I now get food in discount prices just because of him. My selling price has also increased.

I'm sorry to say this but for 1200+ days you haven't made much kills and haven't done much on the world map besides destroying the sarranids. No bad intentions ment but on my game with 900+ days I was level 40 or so and had more then 3 towns +4 castles and a whole lot of villages while still being a lord of the swadians.

I'll check if I can find the screenshots.

Name: Lord Blead of the Void
Culture: Nord (While working for the Swadians)
Level: 43
Day: 941
Cheats?: ctrl + left mouse button to teleport, Ctrl + T when looking for a spy or specific bandit (quest item) I strongly dislike using cheats and will never ever use it unless it is required.

History:
This character first started out with just the name 'Blead'. It was the first warband character I made since the original warband came out and I invested quite some time in it but then started playing more MP and less SP.
He started out as a lonely warrior in the deserts of the Sarranid faction. After helping a lot of lords and the town of Shariz in order to get some money he started to recruiting soldiers and began training them in the honorable skill of slavehunting. After plenty of Dessertbandits, Searaiders, Looters, Taigabandits and what ever else he could find he started to seek more and more challenges. Instead of slave hunting he started to make his fortune with honest trading and participating in tournaments which earned him quite some money and renown. He kept his band of soldiers small to move fast yet remain strong by letting them stay Swadian man at arms. After some while he became a vassal of the Sarranids helping them in there endless battle against the Khergits and Rhodoks.
After many weeks of war his strength grew quickly beyond comparison and even without a fief he still remained a formidable force.

Then came the Great day in which the Sarranids conquered Veluca and rewarded it to Blead for his more then heroic effort in deffending the Sarranid pride and stop invading army from destroying villages. Blead used this opportunity to gain a lot of money from the Guildmaster by doing quests getting his favor with the citizens until it reached a staggering 71+ loyalty. he placed a great force of soldiers in the town protecting it from sieges of the Rhodoks who often planned a massive attack while he was out fighting the Khergits, The war with the Rhodok never did interested him.. After half a year he conquered the Khergits slaying his way threw their lands making himself stronger with every battle  his mastery with the sword & shield + crossbow was reaching epic proportions he renamed himself to Blead Voidbringer. (he started to worship the void and believed he was its messenger) . Then he started investing his fortune in his own armor buying only the best he could find which costed him 2 weeks. He also started taking companions for party skills and elite troops which really strenghtend his army.  After the defeat of the Khergits he charged forwards unlocking a war with the Veagirs (Which was not to the Sultans liking) and gave the finishing blow to the already scattered empire of the veagirs Renaming himself to Blead the Voidlion.

Capturing Curaw in its way which eventually was also granted to him. The nords then became bold and made war with the Swadians. Even thou the Swadians and Nords had the same size of land and armies. It became clear that the Nords were not going to win the war. To be fair they had a pretty crappy marshall while the Swadians marshall was a real warmachine. grabbed the opportunity to attack the Nords in the back claiming Reyvidan which eventually would be his own capital. The battle lasted short, Much shorter then the Khergits. The Nords where horribly weakend by the Swadians and never stood a chance against the mighty force of the ever growing Sarranid empire.

After the destruction of the Nords Blead who again changed his name this time into Lord Blead of the Void (he saw it as a ranksystem which could only be progressed by the destruction of a faction) became bold. He started seeing himself as a king and kept sending his companions on RTR missions sending the message to all that he should have a rightfull claim aswell. while hosting parties, entering tournaments and trading in this everlasting time of peace he plotted. He would become the king. And when the war with the Rhodoks finally did broke lose again his chance was there. He attacked a castle which was lying in the Swadian/Khergit territory and asked for it and was denied. The opportunity he was hoping for! He started to rebel but his rebellion was of a short time period.

After he rebelled the Rhodoks and Sarranids turned on him with massive force forgetting about their own quarrel. They kept sieging every castle and town he owned and burned every village which came in their path. He quickly turned to the only faction that didn't attacked him in a attempt to save whatever he could. He joined the Swadian faction whom in the time of peace they had after the nords became quite a immense force. Each of their parties had over 200+ troops with their king having close to 400.

All was well for a while as the Swadians waged war with the Sarranids conquering most of the map back and forcing the Sarranids back into their own territory with the help of blead. After a while Blead became sick of the laziness of his fellow lords and king and he started to search for the claimant of the Swadians also known as Lady Isolla of Suno. He would help her and plunge the world back into chaos.

He is currently helping Isolla and has almost finished the conquest of reclaiming the throne to her. He knows this will strongly weaken the Swadians. Just what he needs if he would ever try to conquer the world again.

(Blead was never a Marshall even with his high renown, Relationship and honor most of the things he accomplished was on his own or while aiding other lords. He never asked for their help)

P.s. Sorry for the massive post.

Sorry, while typing a reply, my PC got rebooted again... *replying*

killer-blead,

Amazing.

Your post can be studied...

So... I see, that you're a very good player. Your advantage isn't only because you're playing-on-full, but also your companions; I'm not using any companions. Yes it's fun to give them armour and stuff that you want, but I was trying to do everything myself. My progress is my progress that I want, I'm satisfied.

Let us meet at MP Duels; I'm an ex-admin of Ndition's, maybe I could teach you somethin' (I can do chambers well).

The first post was longer, but I've told you why I'm retyping it.
Very good job you've made, *thumb up*
-Tashim

P.S. My main goal in Warband was a making of such char. as Tashim; agree, that he's a well balanced fighter/leader/trainer/tactic etc.

Priynash is Priyon? Well anyway,I want to play warband but for some reason when I get home at about 4pm I just search/read/reply to any some posts for an hour or so

Sure, I would enjoy duelling with you and training together. Let's take this to PM's to discuss the date shall we?

I was freelance for a long time and when i built up nice army and a lot of denars I just waited for the right moment to start my own kingdom. then Veageris took over wrecheg from nords and I tookit over from then. Veageri were already in war with nords so it was easy to take over rivacheg, khudan and couple of castles while nords took the rest of veageri fiefs. Now nords declared war on me, but they're weakened from fighting Veageris and I think it will be easy to conquer the rest of Veageris ex fiefs. but still i fear their huscarls

I went right from the start into the Swadian faction, they have treated me well and it has been a good 80 days. At about Day 10, the Rhodoks declared war on us, and then shortly later the Nords declared war on us. We were getting spanked by them, until we finally got a treaty with both of them. We had peace for about 30-40 days. During that peace time I was wife-hunting, I had my eyes on about 3 women, but all of there relatives hated me. I finally found Lady Nelda, daughter of Count Clargus (who I was in great standing with), Nelda was easy to impress and shortly after, we were married. The Khergits declared war on us shortly after, we have been slamming them to the ground, we have all of their main cities, except for Tulga. I personally took Narra, and it is now my own, with about a 140 garrison in it, I have about 80 men that I usually go out campaigning with though.

On a side not, the Vaegirs are getting stomped by the Nords.
I fear the Sarrinids and the Rhodoks are growing too much in strength and prosperity in their peace time.

I plan to keep moving up in the Kingdom of Swadia. I will depart from them if they either start getting owned, or if I get bored with them.

Things seem to be going good in this campaign.
