What will happen to my wife if I leave my faction?

So I have yet to be married, I'm holding off right now because I just switched factions and I don't have a castle yet.  From what I understand though, once you marry a women she lives in your castle with you.  What would happen though if after I married her, I renounced the faction I'm working for to start my own?  Would she just move into the first stronghold I conquered?  Would she disappear?  Would I have to retake that specific castle she was in?

Just curious.

She would move into your new Ruler's hall until you get a castle/city with your new faction. Did this myself.
