I use a spear as my primary weapon. How else will I claim my own fiefs honorably but as spear-won land?

EDITED: Fixed a little language thing.

In this game you only need one thing: HAMMER
Wait does the hammer attack still trasspass blocks?

Lance, bastard-sword, shield and crossbow single-shot for field battles and bastard-sword, shield, crossbow and bolts for sieges is usually my loadout in warband, will probably stick to it at first and see where the game'll take me.

Depends what I want to do.

If I'm playing an infantryman and plan to get stuck in there, I'll go with sword/mace, board, and either a pike with Javs or a heavy crossbow.

If I plan to go out as a cavalryman, I either go full knight (Axe, spear/lance, shield) or a kind of hybrid with a bow and sword/shield.

I have yet to really try making either a dedicated foot archer or two-handed user. I may try the latter first.

Back in WB, I love that special Morningstar that can be 1h and 2h like the bastard sword.
Having the option of a guard breaker attack is a must for me.
Now much of a Xbow person, prefer bows.

Oooh i remember falling in love with that one at the stages of the game where it was just one massive siege after another.

Bow, arrows, arrows, GLAIVE
Although if there's a great long Axe I might go two hander instead of glaive, but so far they're too short.

The undefeated Military cleaver. Just hoping it's in Bannerlord.

A single-handed sword, and bow & arrow.

A general does not get his blade bloodied, that's what his men are for. He needs a blade, though, to have something to point with. The men also seem happier to see their leader waiving something deadly around.

The bow is more a personal thing to the general. You always have to make time for sport and fun, even if the din of battle can be somewhat distracting.

Sword and Board is the way.

I will bludgeon my enemies to death with my two-handed penis.

Bow and Mace. The bow dispatches the thinly armored or unarmored rabble, while the mace is highly effective against armored elites such as yourself. My minions will be armed primarily with swords/shields and either bows or crossbows, some with lances.

Spear and javelin most likely. Spear is just way too underused in so many games, even though it was historically among one of the most widely used battlefield weapons, so almost always got for that when it is an option
