Repulsed the 3rd and 4th chasseurs, 1st Foot guards and beat up a detachment of the Old Guard at waterloo ... all I can say is brave sturdy men were these for wheeling onto a flank and pouring round after round, if you've seen the old movie of waterloo with the men standing and firing by rank in the wheat fields ... that be the 52nd "The stormers" (Aptly named after the siege of Badajoz and taking the walls).
