What unit would you be?

What Napoleonic unit best suits you? Would you be a steadfast infantryman holding your ground? Or are you more of the "kill them with science" artilleryman using math to aim your cannon? Or are you a heavy cavalry powerhouse? Post your thoughts on what Napoleonic unit you think you would have been.

I would probably be a French dragoon or cuirassier (I have always loved their uniforms, definitely cav at the very least)

I'd have been a French light infantryman, no question.

They were the backbone of Napoleon's infantry. They could skirmish, engage in bayonet charges, etc. And when it came down to it, they were some of the best men in the French army.

Preobrazhenskiy Polk are the sexiest unit in the mod. I swear I fight twice as good with those Line Infantry than any other because of the awesome uniform.

Would probably join up with 1er régiment de chevau-légers lanciers polonais de la Garde impériale to avoid getting dirt on my boots like the  peasants(infantry)

I'd be either a Russian or some south Slavic general

( preferably Montenegrin, since Serbs were extreemelly falling behind with all types of strategy & technology, yet the Ottomans failed even more, so the Serbs won )

Pavlograd Hussars were also elite  And the " Cetinjska Gardija " was .... well, the fact that it defeated an Ottoman army of 40.000 in 1809 says enough ( Cetinjska Gardija had about 3500 men, and was stationed as the Royal Life Guard of Vladika Peter I of Montenegro, it's estimated that they were equal to the strength of Napoleon's Young Guard.... )

The regiment was created in 1799 by a Montenegrin land-owner (as a thank-you to the Montenegrin ruler) and was supplied by the Russians in the same year with the most advanced equipment... The translation of their name means " Cetinje Life Guard regiment ". It was considered the most powerfull unit by quality and experience on the Balkans from 1805 to 1823

How do you call the guys, who throw away their weapons and run away? That´d be me.

Croatian Nazi Homeguard ( Domobrani ) XD The Nazi Croats ( Independant State of Croatia ) had the Domobrani, the official army ( even though they had the Ustashe which were elite and big in numbers ) of the country. Whenever Tito's partisans ( Commy ) would come they'd take off their hats, drop their equipment and boots and ruuuun
