what to do now?

hi guys. I've created my own kingdom after getting some fiefs from the vaegirs and am now at peace with the vaegirs. I've destroyed the remains of the nords and basically own all the western nord territory (Chalbek castle to Tihr and everything in between) Just recently i saw that the vaegirs were at war with the swadians so i quickly declared war on swadia and rapidly took Curin Castle and Jelbegi Castle. unfortunately the vaegirs just got peace with swadia so im on my own. my question now is, what should my next course of action be? I'm reluctant to go face the swadians outside of my mountains, but i know i have to if i want to get somewhere. your advice?

What image?

Also, keep fighting the Swadians. They're easy pickings when Harlaus feasts his faction to death.

Even if I didn't siege one of their fiefs I'd keep beating up on them in the field.  At the very least it'll keep them from being able to siege one of your fiefs.

update: i've just ventured out and taken ryibelet castle, at the same time i got a new vassal, lord gundur, so i gave it to him. to try and proceed further would mean to siege Suno, which is largely garrisoned, so I'll take JosieJ's advice for now.

update: I've taken Suno, Vyincourd castle, and pretty much the swadians aren't doing anything. i assume king harlaus has them all holed up feasting in praven or there just too fat and lazy. unfortunately the vaegirs have declared war again, so im busy again. so far we haven't exchanged fiefs yet. But I've definitely gotten the upper hand taking out their lords. The only problem is that To attack them i HAVE to take Sargoth, but my marshal army just can't manage to stick together long enough to present a large enough army. I don't really need advice right now, unless you can tell me HOW to get my marshal army together in a short term plan.

Try to become marshall yourself  Or do another thing: find a lord that has 300 or 400 troops (or less if the number of in-game days is less advanced) and make him like you. Then make a suggestion to follow you and you have your own mobile strike force able to take almost any castle:wink: I've done that few times with counts Klargus and Montewar - they both had 300+ troops and both were my friends, which allowed me to take enemy castle very quickly and move to next one instantly.

i already am the marshal, i have my own kingdom.

none of my lords have 300+ armies, thats for sure

my problem is that whenever im about to travel towards sargoth, the vaegirs charge into my lands and i have to fight them, but after that my lords say they have to get more troops and head off to their castles.

Give them a break so they recover their strengths, then they'll follow you long enough. Don't keep trying again and again, then it won't work. Alternately you could try taking it alone.
