What to do in Berlin? The german ladies of course.
You could also find the German forumites and do them. Could organise a Taleworlds orgy while you're in Germany.

Everybody knows at least a bit of English. Don't you worry.
Even if they can't express everything, almost everyone should be able to at least get the gist of what you're saying if you keep it simple and slow.
When in doubt, try speaking with folk who look to be under thirty and not "gangster". Should be more than enough of those around.

Also, get gloriously drunk and meet punks.

Avoid the main trainsstation at night. Avoid Kreuzberg all throughout the day. Same for Neukölln and at least one other quarter I forgot the name of.

That's what I was hoping , the people in the Netherlands seemed happy to speak English, so I'm glad Germany is like that too.

I cannot wait to party in Berlin, what is the night life like? I'm expecting gimp and rock clubs, maybe both combined?  Is it true there's a Ramones bar and a Rammstein bar?

Oh, yeah, you need to try out Berliner Currywurst.

I've been told...and warned about that, haha. I think I will try it, my friend has a weak stomach so at least if it doesn't taste great it will be fun to watch him get the poops.

Screw that. Head for Kreuzberg or Neukölln at least once. Lots of nice bars, pubs and cafés which are not (yet) as hipsterized as those in Prenzlauer Berg or Friedrichshain and, if you're lucky, pretty cheap, too. But, as you're a brit, everything will seem cheap to you

That doesn't sound too bad, it will have to be a stop at least once. What are the prices like for beer and such, Germany being quite a beer nation? Is it not expensive, being the capital?

Other then that, what do you like?

My friends and I are into probably a little nerdy stuff (We're heading to a retro computer game museum in Berlin, if you've heard of it ) But we're definitely not above heavy drinking, extreme sports and general fun things. We're also going to check out the natural history museums, zoo and aquariums, so that sort of thing, but aside from me no one would really be to bothered about history or art.

Sightseeing: Reichstag dome or top of TV tower for nice sunsets, also Unterwelten might be interesting. Head for Potsdam if you're into baroque era palaces and gardens. Besides that, the city is pretty dull, though. If you like artsy stuff or history, there are quite a few big museums and galleries. Swimming? Wannsee or some other lake at the river Havel.
In the evenings, lots of people (lots of tourists, too, though) gather at the Mauerpark in Prenzlauer Berg for chilling out, drinking and public karaoke. Drinking in public is legal in Germany, so grab a beer at a Spätkauf and head for any place you like.

That looks amazing, I cannot wait to see the cityscape. Are the parks nice? It does sound a good way to spend an afternoon if the weather is good, and public karaoke....

Avoid Wedding (the district  ) at night, 'cuz that's where I live.

Already packed the soap, it's unavoidable

If you've got a spare day, you can reach Szczecin, Dresden or Leipzig relatively easily by train.

Also, besides Currywurst, try to grab a kebab near the underground station Mehringdamm. Prepare to wait in line, though.

I never thought about day tripping to nearby cities, good idea! The Dresden cathedral looks pretty interesting.

Genuine Turkish kebabs? If so hell yes!
