And we need a team of, what, 8? I need to go re-read the thread. If I'm splitting leadership, I'd suggest that I'll pick a pool of players I'd like on the team, Robert picks a pool, we'll throw in the players that match in our pools, and we'll figure out who else to add if it doesn't come up even.

I can't be arsed to compete, but my sexiness would blow you all away.
The team needs 10 people min, 8 players and 2 reserves, but can have up to 14 people for up to 6 reserves. You guys can perhaps split your picks down the middle, or even better get together for one of those totally horrible behind the back skill/personality discussions all captains have to have eventually and draft up a roster.

This isn't a clan thing I thought. Anyway, let's kick start this thing?
I say sure ... but im realy only in complete 100% contact with my guys, it would be harder to get a group of guys together not in my clan and get practices and just all around communication going, and if they are in a clan i would not want anyone thinking id be taking them way from there clan.
You guys still busy telling each other how great you would be without actually taking the initiative by setting up a team?
Think of it like forming an olympic team. You should start out with you and orion seeing if you can arrange a time to meet up or at least send each other some pm's to find a common time that you guys and people you know can generally play.
After that post a time up in here and ask that people who would like to participate should try to get to a tryout/game on xyz server at a certain time, you may even password the server and pm interested parties the PW if either of you have a server available at the time.
After that maybe a couple rounds of battle to get to know each other and play a bit, then orion and robert reconvene in private to talk about who they would like to put on the team from the pool of players there, pad out the roster etc.
At that point maybe start talking about finding a practice time once a week (or not, can leave it loose, doesnt have to be crazy) that everyone can play, and you should probably switch up between practicing together on US servers and EU servers to get a feel for the higher ping.
I think the MAIN thing you need is to make sure your team can assemble at one place at one time for at least an hour. That is the biggest hurdle to overcome, and going to be the challenge in participating in the cup to attend games with a full roster consistently.
So part of the try outs will just be to see if a person can make it to a scheduled event and stay there the whole time!

I think each of you guys have a clan vent that I'm sure could handle a little bit more load, and you could setup some temp permissions or whatever in one channel for playing.
