What small Quality of Life improvements would you want TW to implement?

Stuff like "Make it easier to follow a caravan," not "add submarines."

Personally:
Make it easier to accompany caravans

Let a companion's stats/skills appear if you hover over their name (for inventory or party role screens)

Add buttons for "Allow companions to upgrade from loot" and "Send remaining loot to your junk pile." Junk pile can be sold in one batch

Let player choose his teammates in a hideout quest. Let player choose his loadout as well (no need of a lance if not on horseback).

Boardgames should be triggered when talking to a boardgame player. Sitting down seems like a pointless step.

It should be more obvious when you level up/get an attribute point/get a skill point.

Conversations shouldn't automatically end after Lords tell you they don't know anything about the Banner quest.

It should be more obvious from the map if there's a tournament going on in a city.

You should be able to accompany a caravan you're escorting.

If Trade Rumors aren't accurate to the players trade skill, it would be nice if either they were accurate to the player's skill, or if they were more abstracted.

Missions that require conversation checks should be completable by a different means. For instance, instead of shilling for Thieving Mercs, perhaps you can just kill them if you don't have any Charm.

Smithing Energy should be visible at all times.

You should be able to choose your Main companion when visiting cities. The one that follows you by default.

Smithing should have a "randomize by craftable"

You should be able to tell what gang leader controls what territory before engaging.

You should be able to bookmark in the same way you can bookmark a castle. Would show the last known location of the lord as mentioned in the Encyclopedia

Make our character the first entry in the Heroes section of the encyclopedia. Seems silly to have to scroll all the way to "Z," or stay on "A".

I would really love to see Kingdoms added as the next feature. I put a lot of effort into increasing my reputation in the Empire, but now I think it's time I form my own.

Is it confirmed Kingdoms aren't in? Got to a point in the game where it seemed like Kingdom creation was possible. Weapon crafting was "confirmed" to not be in as well, so I'm curious.

I have my own castle and town, and am no longer part of any faction but the option to create a Kingdom is not there. I think a few people have mentioned that you could overthrow the current ruler and take over their Kingdom, but I haven't seen any concrete evidence on that yet.

Are you clan rank 3 yet? Also have you completed the banner quest, and if so, have you spoken to one of the quest givers for it?

Only Clan Rank 2, I do have a Banner but not sure when that quest ends. My brother left to find my other siblings only to never return and the quest was marked as finished so not sure if Taleworlds is going to add onto that quest in the future or if I'm supposed to find him again. What does Clan Rank 3 offer?

Recruiting merc units from people in the city just like you can recruit regular units. Frankly, it makes more sense that the underworld guy can get you bandits and the merchant guy can get you mercs than them being able to get you faction troops.

On a related note, the ability to talk to people without actually having to load in the city. Anything that cuts down on loading for mundane tasks is a plus.

Definitely an overhaul of the saving mechanics. Like mutliple slots for Autosaves and Quicksaves. Since my savegame with three different saves have just been destroyed, I think this is necessary for an EA game with a lot of crashes, bugs and plotstoppers, which is to be expected, of course.
.
Also optimization for less and faster loading times.

If you hover over the bar on the clan section, it will say "eligible for kingdom creation +1", I am assuming that one cannot make a kingdom until clan rank 3 is reached. Regarding the banner, have you spoken to the two NPCs that tell you what to do? If you look at your quests there should be a set of conditions you need to reach before contacting them again, and then they will help you establish your kingdom/empire successor state

Really good find, I'll definitely have to check that out. As for the two NPCs, the only active quest I have at the moment has to do with a chest and speaking to all nobles. Is that part of the main storyline?

Loadout selection for any time your character is involved in a quest or about to be attacked

Distance increased from NPCs when doing things like "blood feud" or when bandit king shows up at end of a bandit raid, and option to dismount your horse before the conversation starts for situations that automatically mount you like "blood feud".

Way to increase party capacity with levels in addition to current way

Two-handed sword should redirect block direction while RMB is held when the mouse is moved.

Two-handed swords should have greater size variants, with great damage and slower speed for horse-killers. There is even a perk that recognizes the true size of what we're supposed to be wielding (horse killing perk).

Way to increase skill limit outside of current system.

Larger sold stack sizes for trade goods.

City "need" limitations on trade goods (example: they will buy 20 cloth for full price, then drastically lower for each additional cloth)

Food should tell you how long it will feed your current party size when moused over in shops/inventory.

ESC should cut out of city and town screens, defaulting to "leave"

"Train the troops" mission should not cause desertions.

Archers should default to BEHIND infantry when issuing move commands

Bandits should all be slower - it makes starting the game unpleasant that your 5.0 movement takes forever to catch up to their 4.9; not to mention monetary losses from feeding/paying troops. Unpleasant indeed.

Quickload button

Prisoners Carried in Parentheses on map view (next to army size).

Agree with most of what OP suggested

No worries! The quest is actually pretty cool after you finish talking to all the nobles, admittedly finding them is a bit tedious. I think its to encourage players to explore the whole map when they first start as opposed to sticking in one region till later on in the game. good luck!

- safing my character layout, so i dont have to redo my face all the time
- inverting attack direction, it allows for different mouse handling where it comes to footwork
- allowing to bind keys by replacing already binded keys.
It is more of a hustle to first search a key which is not binded, then switch out what you want to have a certain key and then finally bind the key, then go back and and bind those functions you unbound because you wanted that key.

edit: things which were available in warband, but i did not find here sofar or am missing something myself

I personally find it annoying that you have to have 2 loadouts or keep switching your stuff between your battle and civilian gear. If it is eligible for both, why can't you auto equip it... seems like a lazy solution to me.

Having mouse sensitivity for attack and block movement been separated from the camera movement speed. Seem to problem with the game accepting my input properly compared to previous games, as % of very fine movement that are correctly read seem lower, so have to raise mouse sensitivity but that cause the camera to swing around a bit too wildly.

View character letting you look around without turning the character itself, while in first person.

-A message log! Am I missing something? It was in Warband, I can't seem to find it in Bannerlord. The enter key does this!
-As already mentioned in this thread, an auto-upgrade equipment feature for companions would be nice.

-Yes! I second this.
