What small Quality of Life improvements would you want TW to implement?

When you improve your troop, it shouldn't go all the way down in your party order. Same if you are recruiting companion for quest (like in the familly feu quest)

Immediate QoL improvement: implement small and hence instantly loaded conversation scenes for the conversations started from the global map, like clicking on faces. There is absolutely no need to load the entire city/village scene, I do not even want to go there physically, I want to talk that's all.
Now the game forces me to spend a lot of time on the unnecessary loading screens. And I have a nice rig! I can imagine how it is for the players with slower setups

I like threads like these. I agree a lot with commonly named improvements, and as I didn't play warband as much as others here I might miss some things that maybe are already added to Bannerlord. Anyway, after 10 hours of gaming, to sum it up:

**** Making it easier to accompany caravans

*** Making smithing worth while

**** Better role assignment for companions, I want them to guard garrisons, improve their gear and have some insight in their RPG elements.

**** overhauling the hideout quests to create more options for the player and immersion. Let player choose his team and loadout as well, more soldiers = less loot.

*** More options in the towns and cities, I can't kill anyone, i can't change my loadout or take guards with me.

**** Dialogues. I understand this is largely unfinished but:
- Conversations shouldn't automatically end.
- Bandit/looters/free faction dialogue can all be more diverse.
- Many relationship possibilities can be added with the random generated mechanics, bartering/affairs, etc.

**** more options to complete quests, for example resolving Family Fueds or New Gangs Moving In. I like the option implemented to fail quests by accepting a bribe.

While i agree with these, most of them are not "small quality of life changes", they go beyond it. Also if you read their EA description on Steam they admit most of these are incomplete currently and are worked on.

-easy block option for us noobs
-minimap on battlefield
-asking for location of people

From the hours I've played there are a few I'd like to see:
  • A searchable filtered log page. The data is there it flies past in the log window all the time. I'd just like to be able to see it
  • The ability to scroll the on screen log as often things fly past too quickly
  • A trade ledger so I can see what I've bought and sold and for how much
  • Some way to see war states and general stuff thats going on in the world.Like whos fighting who, who burnt down a village etc
  • More info on the various factions, like who they are and what they stand for. If I'm going to pledge to someone why might I do that. Currently I may as well do it based on what colour I like because I know nothing of the leaders; what they have done or stand for.

- allowing to bind keys by replacing already binded keys.
It is more of a hustle to first search a key which is not binded, then switch out what you want to have a certain key and then finally bind the key, then go back and and bind those functions you unbound because you wanted that key.

This.

This is a very minor thing but I would really like to have a "you are over that way" marker showing me where my character is on the map. I spend a lot of time scrolling around to look for things on the map or just generally checking it out and it would be nice if I had a marker pointing in the direction on the map where my character was located. Or at the very least a "center on party" button to get me back to my party in a hurry if I forget where they are. This was a problem in Warband too. I would always forget where I'd left my party if I was planning out an especially long route to a distant city or just exploring the more distant regions of the map and I feel like one or both of these would make for a pretty good fix for this issue. Like I said, it's more of a minor niggle than an actual problem but I wanted to mention it nonetheless.

Here is a list of things I would like to see (some of them have already been mentioned by others):
  • I should be able to ask lords where to find other lords like in Warband.
  • Is should be able to accompany other parties on the world map like in Warband.
  • When inside one of the menus, for example the inventory, I should be able to press the hotkey for one of the other menus to go there directly. As it is now I have to click on the icon, or go back to the world map and press the hotkey from there.
  • I should be able to abandon quests, especially since some of them cause crashes when the time expires or are simply impossible to complete.
  • When on the inventory or character screen I should be able to access my character and companions encyclopedia pages through a button or by clicking their names. The same should apply for my clan members in the clan management screen.
  • I should be able to use the same piece of gear for both battle and civilian outfits. As it is now, I need two identical weapons (one for each outfit) instead of being able to use the same weapon for both.
  • I should be able to choose the companions and troops that follow me into bandit camps (and other scenes).
  • I would like to see the exact effect on my character's movement speed from encumbrance. Come to think of it I would like to see other statistics as well like total health, weapon damage and stuff like that.
  • Lastly, butter and cheese should not share the same icon.

I think they should add tabs to filter inventory and when you trade. Since after a while it feels a little annoying to be having to scrool to search the list. You can take the SkyUI of the Skyrim skse as an example. Goods, weapons, armor tabs, etc.

I could probably sum up my list of suggestions as "an in game spreadsheet". Possibly make it dependent on advancing your merchant skill or having a skilled merchant in the troop.

I just started playing so bear with me if this stuff is already there.

+1 "Talk to characters without loading the town"

It took me a while to notice but if you click on the item tabs above your equipment slots whilst on the trade screen it will filter them.

A lil unintuitive if you ask me, would still like an option to see separate vendor inventories by not filtering like that or by talking to them.

It seems to me that it only orders them (?), But as you say I would prefer that the inventories be separated.

easier access to the Enclypedia.

Press 'N' key to open the encyclopedia  plus your stream of search is saved so when you click the back button it gives you the search you did before, a nice touch for me indeed

Also more loadouts. Be nice if we can set a unique loadout for Hideout missions, or any other missions where you don't start with a horse. Feels silly bringing a 10 foot lance on a sneaking mission
