Hi recently i got a wave of threatening calls from a blocked number and its been annoying in the first place but now it's just extremely rude and violent. I don't think there is a way of calling back block numbers. These guys threatened to "shank" me because i "pissed" them off and do u think calling the police is not necessary?

Just call the police. End of problem. Maybe record one of the conversations so you have some proof.

Inform the police.

Then keep a log of all the times that this happens, and how it makes you feel. The police will ask you to do this anyway, so you can pay part of your National Insurance to me if you like.

Then change your number.

If caller persists, see if your phone provider can bar blocked numbers, or get caller ID, and stop answering calls from blocked numbers.

That, definitely that. Bait them a little too if you can into saying something very incriminating and irreconcilable if you can. Even before calling the police. In fact, make sure to have more than one recording and of more than one instance and catalog them well time and dates are important.
The police can't really resolve anything other than telling the other guy about the complaint if you don't have any evidence to charge them with. They can't act on hearsay alone, or at least, put a definite stop to it.

That's of course, if you want to call the police to deal with this situation though...

I think recording phonecalls is illegal here, at least on landlines, unless you inform the caller their call is being recorded.

Baiting won't help as any good defence lawyer will use it against you.

Just recieved another call, think he might know me cuz he was like next time u go down to "street" you better watch out and he hung up. Street is this ****pile town in south west btw

Intercepting phone calls of other people is illegal, taping your own phone calls however, is legal in many countries, especially if they are the ones calling you.

I wasn't very clear with that, he doesn't need to be provocative, he just needs to ask things like why are they doing this, when have I wronged you, and how can I make it up to you. Perfectly reasonable things to ask I think.

I thing is i'm actually afraid that the police would do nothing. I've had enough of my pretentious and stereotypical school already and they don't do a single thing about abuse even though they say any type of abuse results in explusions

If you won't even inform the police, you give up your right to whinge about your problem and have sympathy.

I say you buy a gun, then you start insulting the guy on the phone back, invite him to settle things like men, you go to a pre-determined meeting spot, but instead of fighting you hide and follow him back home, wait until the next time he leaves the house, then you knock on the door and proceed to kill everybody inside.

Chances are he wont phone you any more.

Your entire series of posts in this topic is what I call "desperate attention seeking", but I guess neither of us is a qualified psychologist, huh?

Regardless, you've described your problem, I've told you what to go and do about it, why are you still posting? The police force IS a twenty-four hour service, you know. Just call your local station and lock this thinly veiled attempt at seeking attention.

It would probably be a much better idea to get someone else to follow them back home, so even if they were seen, and the aggressor is likely to know how he looks like, the connection wouldn't be as strong.

Edit: Come to think of it, you probably shouldn't call the cops, it would be a much better idea to go to your local police station and report the offense and ask for advice in how to deal with it. The sight of a police cruiser in front of your house might tip off your assailants.

Buy a large gun and prowl the streets. Open fire on any chavs or pretentious white gangsters that you meet, then end your own life. Public service followed by a fitting end. You'll be hailed as a hero.

Edit: ninja'd. Dammit Llandy!  And Swadius as well now!
