Well, I was thinking yesterday about what kind of music everyone on the forum likes.  So, as you can see, made a topic about it.  It's not going to be a poll, because it'd be, well...  I don't want to, so there.
Just talk about the music you like.

As for me, it's kind of rock/alternative, but I just started listening to Lily Allen.  So, other things like The Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, Robby Williams, The Kings of Leon, and the Beatles.

Wotcha' you bee's thinkin',  Y'ken?

I like soft rock, classic rock, even some jazz, for some reason... Just to give you an inkling of what I like, my favorites are Billy Joel, the Eagles, Don McLean, and so on.

Quite frankly, every kind of music interests me.

Goes from electronica, over metal, over classic rock, over funk, over jazz, over blues, over ghosepl&spirituals, over old school hiphop, over latin, over all kind of folk all to classic.

I kinda like the Eagles to. I pretty much expected you to be a metal head, Tiberius.

I listen to everything. From classical to jazz all the way to DSBM (Depressive Suicidal Black Metal) going passed Hard Rock and Psychedelic. I don't listen to much electro and I hate rap. As a musician, I'll listen to anything, and I'm pretty picky in what I actually like. I usually listen mostly to good old classics like Led Zeppelin, Hendrix or Pink Floyd, and a lot of metal and death metal, like Morbid Angel, Slayer, Metallica, a bit of Mayhem, and my most recent addition, Killswitch Engage. So yeah, I listen to just about anything, even Tibetan monk chants !

Metal. I listen to stuff from Slayer, to Iron Maiden, to Black Sabbath, to At the Gates, any kind of metal is good. Anything in between those is good.

Punk and various forms of punk.  I like a bit of rap (not that Soulja Boy supaman dat ho bull****, REAL rap) and metal too, but not much of anything else.  I suppose rock is alright but I've never taken much of a liking to it.

Mostly old fashioned jazz, funk, soul - and a little rock. But also modern beats

Stuff like
Freddie Hubbard, Art Blakey,
James Brown, Tower of Power, The Solution, Elvis Costello, Prince
- even The Cure...
Mouse on Mars, Tortoise...

I've been listening to a lot of earlier Radiohead stuff recently. Can't get one or two of the songs out of my head.

She deserves to have a rusty pitchfork jammed straight into her vocal cords. That is all.

Aww, c'mon man!  I could say the same to any single heavy or death metal singer that ever existed, but they already sound bad.
Do you think her voice is annoying or do you hate the music?

It would explain it, yes

I'm not particularly fond of death metal either, but there's opinion for you. Whether that opinion is strong enough to warrant rusty pitchforks is entirely up to you.

Both. A good deal of mainstream music nowadays is awful, but nothing is quite so much as that ruddy Alfie song. On the vocal front, the only voice that is more annoying than Ms. Allen's at the moment is that Duffy character, which is akin to listening to a cat being drawn through a mangle.
