What mods are everyone looking forward to?

I wish for a mod that adds upgrade in villages which will enable us to build short wooden walls around the village.

As far as i know, we can now station forces in villages so villages can be defended. If we would be able to cover the willage with short wooden walls that would be great.

I don’t know if the player can station forces in villages, but villages have militia in the Gamescom videos. If the base game doesn’t use them enough, I’d like to see a mod that increases the number of battles inside village scenes.

Yes, mine is just speculation. But if i am not mistaken, in one interview Armağan said that we can ask our family members to go and defend our villages. And as you said, villages have militias. So if i would speculate, player should be able to station his/her own troops there as well.

I can understand that adding-castle feature would request big amount of work. But one short wooden wall around the village would be enough for that village. Even if the attacker wins, they would bleed enough.

I know it was shown in the 2016 footage you can garrison your soldiers in any allied town/castle. Since castles and villages are separate again, I'm not sure we'd be able to garrison a village, but I'd assume you could still garrison them in the nearby castle, possibly with a companion who has instructions to "patrol" or "defend"? That last part is pure speculation, but I think it would make sense & allow the player to do more interesting things than sit around and baby their village like in WB.

We are able to "get in" villages in Bannerlord, like we can actually stay inside the village and others cannot touch us. This was not a thing in Warband. I assume that, if someone attacks the village while we stay in that village, game would probably ask us to join the battle in one side maybe? Otherwise that would be so weird.

That would definitely make sense, like when defending a castle from a siege in WB. I think if villages are connected to the castles, there should be some sort of patrol or defend stance you can give your soldiers, perhaps a companion/family member, so they'll defend the village if it's attacked by a party smaller than it.

Anyway, we're on mods thread so we'll probably see these things as mods if not in the base game

I would love to see Warsword come out for bannerlord, The Chaos models look extremely good even for warband. And more recently i started playing Prophesy of Pendor, i really like it.

It would make sense for the player or other parties to be able to enter a fortified village to evade an attacker (a 6 foot high palisade or 4 foot roughly stacked stone wall), particularly where you have troops stationed or the village has its own garrison.  That could serve as a deterrent to small bandit parties or other forces not much larger than the player's, as they would need to fight against the combined forces of the player and the village.  Any sizable faction party that really wants to should have no problem sieging and assaulting it, however.  Basically, it's a modest force balancer for the defender by restricting the attack to limited corridors (either the front entrance or a couple of quickly assembled makeshift ramps/ladders/steps), but it won't give you the significant defender advantage of a castle.  If the village is on significantly better terms with the party than with the attacker, they'd join in the fight; if on similar or worse terms, they might not get involved.  That would put a bit more importance on local relations, especially for a small or heavily battered group.

The best part of Warband is the battles, in particular the mods that have improved on combat AI. Bannerlord will not support combat AI modding --- as per the developers --- and this has seriously reduced my expectations for this game, especially after seeing the AI at Gamescom.

I want some throwing chickens that "pokoooh" when they hit the target, best mod ever  :fruity:

4.  FIRST PERSON TRAVEL MODE - I'd like large-scale instanced maps unique to each region and a signpost connecting instances to adjacent area at the end of each road. Time of travel would be determined between regions set by path finding skill as usual. Fast travel option would allow me to an area further than the adjacent one of course.  Combat would occur on map unique to that region, not generated from a seed.  I want to be able to travel from one side of world to the other, first person.

You might be interested in this, I know it's not technically want you want but its closer than anything else I have seen in a long time.

Last i would love to play a Fallout mod but not with zombies ^^ keep it real

keep the "desired mods" discussion focused in one thread

I'd like to see something in the ancient period more toward the Middle East: Babylon, Egypt, Assyria, Judea, Damascus, possibly extending into Scythia or India, or Asia Minor (which the devs would probably appreciate).  The Middle Ages are highly overrated.
