Whether it's something you see, read, hear, or  someone you converse with. It's something that happens to us all.

It doesn't make you joyous or pissed. It doesn't ponder in the noggin, or make you laugh. It doesn't even scare you , or make you lose faith in humanity. What happened today that had you rolling your eyes?

This made me roll my eyes today.

Good then we're off to a cracking start. Well here's what happened today that made think to try this thread.....

    I had to go down and pay a visit to our IT people. Walked in just as the one I need to speak to was fielding a call from someone. They were in a panic. Said all of their work was gone, and couldn't find anything. Programs, software, accounts, etc, etc. She says she has some knowledge of computers and that she thinks it  such and such and the fault is with such such.She's yelling at the IT at this point. I  hit the speaker phone, tell them to cut the yelling, and that the issue's going to be handled.  So I tell the IT gal to go ahead run up there, and that I'll see her after she handles this. I  head back and not 3 minutes after I sit down she shows up. I'm a bit surprised and ask what's going on. At this point with her being back so fast I'm wondering if it is something really serious.

    They tell me there was no problem..... they only had to wake the screen. The woman she had to go to had been trying to access all of this on her personal laptop instead of her work laptop. This work laptop was literally a foot to the left of the one she was trying to use. It was a completely different color, model, make, and, os(Macbook and an IBM). Her unapologetic excuse was that she normally has the work one on the right and personal one on the left. They even asked if the tech had moved them around when they had turned to talk to her assistant. About halfway through her telling me what  happened I  had my moment. Before I even finished it she said, "Yeah, exactly", and continued on..

I wouldnt actually slap a women. But I would have wanted to, that lady sounds like a special kind of stupid.

So that we may take their riches. They won't mind, we and the Canadians have taught them how to be overly nice.

I've never seen this myself. I'd rather use ****face than "good sir", myself.

1) ESL speakers who try to do a native accent too hard. Especially if the accent is RP.

2) The word "jolly". I always imagine a big fat old hairy man (basically a naked Santa Claus) laughing and his sweaty fat rolls jiggling as he approaches another 9 year old victim of his.

I started making something else, and ended up scening for some other scene altogether...
I am really sorry...
I have changed the terrain, and have removed the evidence of all snowy buildings..

Don't sweat it. I think your scene looked rather nice. Not like some of the other shoddy work some people come here to get praised for.

I'm not even suggesting that the scene was decent at that point, but more complete forms of the scene were posted later on in the thread, meaning that he needed to search farther back into the thread for the ****ty screens where I was asking for advice on making the flora look good.
