What made you lose faith in humanity today?

Every time there's a sale on anything here there's a cap on the maximum they'll sell per customer. Recently there was a shortage on baby food (something about the Chinese using too much) and that was capped too.

Ah yeah I heard about that on the news back then, people would buy up as much baby milk powder as possible because it was profitable to sell it to Chinese buyers at the time due to a string of baby milk scandals in China which made many Chinese wary of buying local baby products. It had the side effect that people in the Netherlands who actually have kids couldn't buy the powder any more and thus couldn't feed their baby's the specialised milk. That's a long time ago though, I think Jorinde still drank her Milk bottles when that was in the news. (Over here in Belgium you can only buy baby milk powder in pharmacies)

And apparently in 2015 there was a fire in a baby milk powder producing factory, causing another shortage

oh, if i could only drink water from the tap, but alas, that cannot be

I assume they can't drink from the tap because of the hurricane ****ing up the infrastructure. Or, at least, that's what he was betting on happening.
Or just because yank tap water, especially in Florida, tastes of piss from the chlorination.

Oh right.

My good Southern gentleman, before you leave for your Belles, I would like to announce that the most recent statement made by Mister Fishy was of a sassy character and should be applauded.

I have to convey myself in that one does want to agree to agree, fine companion. This is indeed a correct position to withstand from critique or potential confusion among relatives. Nevertheless, we did find the story risible.

Mcdonnalds in the Netherlands is keeping their clown mascot out of the public eye for now due to a string of "killer clown" sightings.

There was this guy(s) who decided to dress up as pennywise from IT and walk through city centres and towncentres armed with a big knife and scaring people

Dutch police have taken to calling them "loser clowns" and urge people to report these clowns as soon as they spot one

In an era where everyone is already scared what makes anyone think it's a funny idea to go ahead and scare people and kids by dressing as a symbol of children's joy and perverting it to something scary and then walking the streets.

Ah well at the very least it's disturbing the public order so once caught they'll be paying nice fines

The press here isn't helping with this clown bull****.
Almost every headline amounts to 'CLOWNS GONNA KILL YOUS ALL'

They're worse than bloody Juggalos.

A school near me closed for a day because someone threatened to murder people at it on Facebook or something while dressed as a clown. It's really quite annoying that all these tryhards are coming out of the woodwork.

The press doesn't help anything. They thrive on fear and hate mongering.

Unfortunately, despite my pretty deep-seated loathing of most media at this point, I can't think of anyway to fix it that doesn't involve government interference which would be, rightfully, unconstitutional in most places.

Imagine with what ease the clowns will blend in amongst the crowds of people during Halloween.

Happy Halloween.
