And yet olive oil is a sort of yellow colour. It seems like the 'olive' description is a sort of blanket statement created by people too lazy to specify which type of olives they're using as a comparison.

Gotta agree with Fris on this one. Whilst I have nothing against hobbits (or dwarves, or elves) Oompa Loompas are pretty damn creepy. For example, did you know that they actually possess a hive-mind? That's the reason they are able to work together so effectively. The Queen Loompa (her name is QueeLo, she's a bit like J-Lo except she's not "from the block") guides the Oompa workers via a complex system of pheromones and chemical suppression of their free will. It's pretty impressive, actually; I have to force my slaves political prisoners to work under pain of death and/or scorpions, but QueeLo has turned all her workers into unthinking minions. Sorta like people who buy iPhones.

Anyway, having reviewed all of the available evidence about types of people and skin colour and height and what have you, I feel I am now in a position to address the question. What kind of people do I find most attractive?

Human people. If you're talking like sexual attraction, then human male people. Human female people can be attractive too, but I have no desire to jump into bed with them.
