Old MM maps use old models and old props which are no longer available. Give me the name of the map and I'll recreate it to the best of my ability.Feldmarschall_Ben 说:Old MM Maps are still the best...
Perhaps work on these first?
And then tell vincenzo to put it into the EU_1 Server.
To be honest... not every new map is bad. They aren´t actually bad but the mm maps were the best![]()

Draw me an outline in paint and I'll make your dreams come true.Talii 说:I've always wanted to do an event/linebattle on a map with several levels of Fortifications ( Think Minas Tirith), where there will only be one round during the entire hour, so there will have to be a big fort to keep everone occupied. Beeig an amateur mapper, I wouldnt dare to attempt this.

Well, Imagine a big hill. On this hill, there is several levels of fortifications, so that attackers will have to attack and seize each level in turn. The Flag is on top, together with some major fortifications ( Star forts maybe, while the hill fortifications are those smaller Brick Walls). There should be 2-3 possible attack directions, but there should also be very, very hard for the attackers. Artillery on each level, as well as a big battery for the attackers. Openable portcullises, not destructable doors as gates. Along the route to the top of the hill, there will be minor fortifications, such as sandworks, fall pits and similiar to help halt defenders.
I'd say using about 1/4th of the Borodino map-size for the hill, or maybe 1/3rd, should suffice. Attacker should have trenches zig-zagging to about 50 feet before the hill starts, to make them run over dead mans land.
Maybe have 1 of the first gates from the first level facing a harbour, so that the attackers will have to use boats to get to that specific gate, and blow the walls with sappers.
From each level, you should capable of firing down on those levels below you, or at least one level below you. The Walls should be 2 or 3 "Character Heights" tall.
This is just thoughts I have, feel free to sudject imprvements.

Just a little bit here, This sounds alot like a pre-existing building in France. Mont St. Michele.

The streets are in several levels and rooftop fighting could allow snipers to fire on attackers. The actual "castle" (its a monastery) could be the last defense spot. It is sometimes surrounded by water (for boat fights) and sometimes by sand (for the "no-man's land"
Most importantly, its in France!
