What is your favourite faction and why ?

Guys don't forget to play as your least favorite when EA comes out! That way you can gain an understanding of game mechanics as they are developed and patched in, and you can keep your favorites till full release.

I am not waiting two years to play Vlandia.

Sturgia closest thing to nords i can get at release. Plus been loving them in the beta.

Khuzaits because of the horse archers and visual aesthetic. I´ve also really warmed up to the Sturgians now that they´re looking more Kievan Rus.

I feel like the Empire has both a complex roster of troops and a fun, new culture, but Sturgia has the most interesting minor factions attached to it and I'm curious to see how they work. Then again, my heart belongs to the desert.
Of course, I expect to see plenty of every faction in my travels. Eventually a place like home will present itself.

Bold of you to assume I won't play my favourite faction hundreds of times over for years to come.

Seriously though, I'm hesitant to even pick a favourite faction, as they are all appealing in their way. I'll certainly try all of them in time, but have my mind set on starting with Aserai. Not least for reasons of fashion, yes.

I can't stop you I wish you many hundreds of hours of fun my friend.

I think the Empire is the most interesting faction. Politically and Historically.

Empire due to the fact that there is a mystery in the death of the former emperor but I think my favorite is Battania.

Sturgia is for me interessting as they are based on Kievan Rus which is quite underrepresentiv in video games and media overall altough it has its own take on it. Beside Sturgia i really like the Design of the Empire and the idea of the 3 diffrent States.
