I want to buy a PC to play it. I was playing it through a GeForce now, but I want to use mods. What is the absolute cheapest build I can do to play it 1080p with 1000 men no meter graphics

I suggest you wait a month or two in this case, as the game is still being patched for performance. Otherwise you will have to spend more for the same result.

if you are in a hurry (want now!), then its another story.

and you need to explain better what you meant by "no meter graphics"

I think he meant 'no matter the graphics' aka 1000 men on lowest graphics settings

Also I've seen people commenting they have 30 fps with 2080 ti on 1000 man battles, so the answer is definitely wait for performance updates

I'm not in a hurry by no meter graphics I mean in game preset (low, med, high)

that is why I asked. Because it could mean lowest, medium, very high ... in other words, it could mean anything, which makes any reply ... impossible

nono, you need to decide if you want low or high graphics, as the $$$ impact is big on that one alone lol

As I said low is enought

to be fair high, medium, low presents don't really impact my fps much, its more about having enough ram and a good enough CPU, i think an i5 9700k will be enough when the game is optimized especially if you somehow manage to get it overclocked to 5.1Ghz like some people do (if you have no idea about what i'm talking about leave it alone or get someone that does, destroying your new processor isn't fun)

As kalarhan said, i suggest you wait for the game to be optimized. Check out the recommendations in the steam store, the ones that are there right now i think are fair enough, though right now it's another thing entirely.

This game is mostly depended on CPU. Single core very strong CPU with 6-8 cores will the the work.
i7 8700k can handle 1000 Units at 40-50 FPS like its nothing. 85% cpu usage.

16GB Ram, a decent SSD for the game (if you have two, use the second for the OS and page file), avoid USB headphones (they are still working on fixes for sound issues causing lag). Those should help with current game issues (performance).

for low graphics you can use cheaper GPU with 2-3 GB VRam, but honestly you shouldnt buy one with less than 6GB nowadays anyway. Unless you want to buy a used one like a 900 series, which could save you a lot of cash.

CPU just make sure its a new-ish with 4 or more cores (2016 or newer). If Intel you can go with i5 (cheaper than i7 or i9).

In a few months people will start to post bench-marking for the game and you can see what sort of hardware does well for what.

Also as you dont care about graphics just set your FPS to 30 (limiter) and few dead bodies.

for more discussions on low performance see this https://forums.taleworlds.com/index...tuttering-got-8gb-ram-this-might-help.397468/

Different systems will have different bottlenecks. My FPS definitely improve when switching graphics to low and that's what I do in 1000-man battles. I have an old Core i5 6600K and a GTX 1060. I just upgraded to a GTX 2060 because of this game so I'll see how much more it improves and if I need to upgrade my CPU as well.

Bought my Helios 300 2019 for 700 euros, during black friday.
Best laptop of that year, runs the game buttery smooth.
1000 men battle tends to get a little laggy tho, around 30 fps.

got a 1080 ti and a pretty old i7 cpu and 1000+ battles are fine for me get a few stutters here and there but other than that its performing rather well.

I have RX 580 | AMD R5 1600 6c/12t | 8GB RAM | SSD and 1000 battles are really playable on medium settings. When 1000 troops are fighting fps is about 25-35 without and drops so its smooth for me and where is nothing going on (lets say only archers shoot) it is around 40-60 fps

What's the point of buying a new system to play on 1080p? Just buy a 2k monitor already if you can. Pretty big waste of money to buy a great CPU/GPU just to use standard resolution.

Huh? He's trying to find the cheapest system to play the game at a stated resolution and performance he's comfortable with. Increasing the resolution just raises that price.

Whatever build you end up with its a must to get 16GB+ RAM. No matter what specs you have if you've got 8GB ram or lower you will suffer, atleast as the current state of the game. You can also try getting a SSD but I heard bannerlord destroys your SSD

atm you can't have stable 60 fps , with any pc at 1000 men on battlefield. (i am saying this having an Gtx 1080 and a 32 gb ram) , and seeing many youtubers trying to go for 500 battle units (with rtx 2080 and i9 , and strugling on getting stable 40 fps) , so yes, best answer is to wait till the performance will be fixed.
(ok, now my suggestions is) (for 120+ fps on 1080)
Get at least 16 gb (minimum) (32 gb suggested) (ddr4)
Gtx 980 (minimum) (gtx 1080 suggessted)
intel core i7 9700k (minimum) or Intel Core i0-990K 3.6 GHz (suggested)

I should have been more clear. I see people posting with GTX 2070's and it-9700's playing on 1080p. It makes no sense.
