What is the best Warband Faction?

In Mount and blade Warband, what is the most powerful faction, meaning if left to its own devices for a really really long time would conquer calradia by itself the most times out of ten. I am sorry for not having the sarinidian sultanate in the poll it only allows five choices. If you would care to leave a comment defending your answer, I would like to hear your input.

My votes go to the Rhodoks. They typically pick fights with their neighbors who are either weak or at war with another country. They typically win siege battles and come out of a war with more cities. If not the Rhodoks then the Nords would have my next vote. This is assuming that the lords all stay in their faction.

I say Nords.  In most of my games they've been very expansionist and have steamrolled the other factions--until I've joined one, that is.  I've found the Rhodoks to be a bit more defensive: they never lose any of their towns, although a few castles (like Jamiche) will change hands back and forth, but they haven't been as aggressive as the Nords.

Sarranids are easiest faction to play campaign with I think. For some reason they have lot of wealthy lords with lot of troops and can consistantly bring huge marshall armies. Their villages also rarely get looted. So great location and powerful allied lords. Only suckiness is their terrible siege troops/.

I would say Swadia they have an good balance of infantry, their knights are the most deadliest of all the mounted unites on the battle field.

Swadia is the one that gets steamrolled every single game, I'd say they're probably the worst faction

1st Veagirs - best combo of archers and inf and strong cav you will find, and they live in da snow!
2nd Khergit - does it seriously need explanation.... 100 arrows flying every voley....(mounted xD)
3rd Sarranid - They have bad ass archers and inf, I do not like thier cav looks, but can even the swadian knights

Yeah in my current play through swadia has ceased to be entirely without my input. I haven't even joined a faction yet. I'm thinking Maybe Rhodoks because they weakened swadia significantly, But there may  have been a stalemate if it hadn't been for the kerghits swooping in and finishing it off. They were pretty much the last nail in the coffin. However the Rhodoks right now are getting it pretty rough from the Sarinids. The Vaegirs and the Nords seem to have resolved their differences so Not sure were to rank them.

In my current playthrough of the game. (I am playing VERY VERY slowly) I am on day 900 and I just joined the Vaegirs. Nords have taken out Swadia and are almost done with the Rodoks. My vote for without player is Nords. The player can make any faction look good

Swadia often gets wrecked because they're in the middle of the map and every other faction picks them apart.  Nords usually expand pretty quickly, much to the despair of Swadia and the Vaegirs.  I have seen a few games where those two factions crushed the Nords though, so anything can happen.  The Rhodoks almost always hold out the longest, thanks to being on an edge of the map and possessing the best defensive units.

I prefer infantry, so my favorite factions are Rhodok and Nord.  Swadia's probably the easiest to win with as a player if you're willing to go cav heavy.

Vaegir mixed with Swadian units. I've played all the factions and I can take out the whole map in less than 365 days on normal with vaegirs.

Your gonna have a major WTF moment when you hear this: I just got my ass saved by King Harlus.

I got back into my diplomacy/native after giving up on brytenwalda(major fps drop was just unplayable, great mod if your rig can handle it though. It REALLY opened my mind up to new tactics that should apply in Native, more than Huscarl/Swad Knight smash that is.). The Rhodoks decided they were going to try to take praven from me. Outnumbered, I sent two messages, one to King Harlus and the other to count klargus. They began the siege with 500 troops against my 200(100 being swadian footmen and 50 crossbows the rest were my companions and knights/man at arms). I had managed to last long enough to wipe out the majority of their assault force with my crossbows down below shooting them in the back while my footman distracted. They  managed to kill off my infantry and officers and all that were left standing was my xbow firing line that pretty much machine gunned them down before they could reach them. However that left me with 27 xbows that weren't unconcious and I myself was pretty weakened from the previous battle. Then  King Harlus replied back yes(Klargus said no, ungrateful bastard. After all those forest bandit layers I took out for him  ) and swooped in with his 200 man army and chased off the rest of the siegers before they could finish me off.

I now take back every bad thing I said about Swadians even though it was them who started the damn war while we were already fighting khergits.
