... There were fantasy elements, BUT, here me out before slamming the reply button. I'm not talking about magic and such, I did suggest it earlier and I only now realized that it would suck immense amounts of ass. I mean that why should all the armor and weapons be historic looking? Most of the armor types can be traced backk to a certain culture (the british, mongolians, etc.). What if you had some more imaginative armors? I'm not talking D&D here, but maybe some winged helmets and such. Since the game is not historic(and I hope it won't be, I like the current setting too much) why should all the equipment in it be.
 
Hmm, well, I'm not against ornate blades and armors, that's for sure...
Just only if they will not provide indecent bonuses - better, they should be only 'for show', costing and weighting a TON but not giving anything in return but, say, bonus to leadership :smile:.
And besides, modelling armor from RL pictures is much easier then thinking and drawing 'from ground up', I think.
