This is the only case where a tk would be allowed...in self-defense. Attacking a team-hitter is a no-no; attacking a full fledged teamkiller is ok, as long as you use chat to inform everyone else he was trying to tk you after the fact. Or you can just keep on blocking until he gets bored...most tk'ing trolls don't know how to feint

Sorta late in here, but I think you guys have rose colored beta glasses. Well, probably not, see the thing was with less people, everyone knew one another and everyone mostly understood where they were in relation to one another in terms of friendship and skill level.
But man let me tell you, even in beta, a lot of normally nice people hated getting beaten by an unknown name. I find that people were nice to Reapy while Mr/Ms X got insulted frequently. It is just natural human behavior though, we treat those we know much better than strangers. A 'happy noob' is an easy personality for most to deal with, but a noob beating you doesn't compute in people's brains.
Also, if anyone is mildly curious, my assumption for internet/random troll people, the kind that just love to be hated, are really people that I think have a hard time making friends. To tell the truth it is much easier to provoke hate in a person then love, and for some kids, and even adults, they never could make someone love or befriend them, but at some point they found out how to provoke an emotional response via anger and annoyance, and I think just have given up on having real friends and stick in their armor of hate they create.
That is only for the extreme cases though, obviously you still have people with personal reasons to be annoying, also lack of maturity. I recall spending my youth online being sort of a dickhole, I guess we all have to go through that at some point.
Anyway in general I find the landscape the same now as in beta, at least in the US. The US community is still tiny though, 1 battle server, maybe sub 10 people on DM and if I'm lucky a respawn game of some sort, though more often then not, its just that one 20 person battle server up when I check. Damn you all, more people please!!

There are fights on servers for no reason. Just because someone got killed by an arrow...does this mean you have to go on swearing and calling people names? This is a simple question. So what if it is MP people should knnow how to respect each other.
Like no offence even people on games such as WOW have respect for other players and do not go out of their way to call others names.
(Unless I suppose they stole each others money or something?
So my question is where has the respect for MP gone?
Most of my real life friends do not sya anything when on but are disgusted by such conduct Warband MP gamers have and have even been discouraged to play.
All I ask is that as MP players lets all try to respect each other.

I wouldn't be randomly fun kicking first off.
But if I was, I would ask why they did that, if they wanted me to stop why didn't they ask? The damage I could have been doing in most cases would be far less than a slash.
