What has happened to MP respect?

I am not one to always complain but this has me worried to a very certain extent.
No one has respect for each other anyone anymore?
There are fights on servers for no reason. Just because someone got killed by an arrow...does this mean you have to go on swearing and calling people names? This is a simple question. So what if it is MP people should knnow how to respect each other.
Like no offence even people on games such as WOW have respect for other players and do not go out of their way to call others names.
(Unless I suppose they stole each others money or something?

So my question is where has the respect for MP gone?
Most of my real life friends do not sya anything when on but are disgusted by such conduct Warband MP gamers have and have even been discouraged to play.

All I ask is that as MP players lets all try to respect each other.

Sir Gowe
p.s. reply your point of view in this but I think I should put this topic here for it will mean something.
It's not really Warband, it's the internet. Compared to a few other online games I've played (admittedly, I wasn't really such an online gamer before Warband), it's really still ok in Warband. You'll get the occasional recognition-craving idiot, but all in all, it's not like I hear people being insulted every day I play.

What do you mean no respect?
I use Nditions Duel Server, and most of the time, everyone on there is polite.
HECK! This morning, there were just 2 of us in there to start with, and I apologized for being new to multiplayer...and the other person really politely explained to me kind of what I was doing wrong.

And heck, my game massively improved
Although, a couple of minutes later there were around 7 of us, and someone kept randoming and ruining the duels. But, as ever, I felt a sense of community, as we all went after him.

To be honest, I feel like I've made a group of new friends, as I've seen the same people on there quite a few times, since I started playing online 3 days ago
Then again, you were playing on a duel server. They tend to attract nice players. And illiterate randomers .

Same here, I recognize some people and then just talk to them. I don't know if they recognize me (MR_KB) or not. I always enjoy playing with the clans: ZHG, OLL, Shieldings&Einjarhär. All fun people.

I also recognize some of the forum members while playing like Ulthred thou I can't come up with his forumname ATM.

That or people who enjoy the thrill of being run after by 10 people who want to kill you.

Well I will try to ignore this but it seems to me that EU servers seem friendly.
I hope US servers stop fighting too oh well.

Most humans lack respect; the more players in any multi-player game, the clearer this becomes.

Yes, I've seen people  disrespecting each other a lot. I usually call people "Nublancah! :O!"  "Spammah! :O!"  "Spinnah! :O!" but due to my lame and intended bad grammar and a smiley, they obviously know that I am saying that in a non-agressive way. And the thing I hate the most is when people poll someone out for taking too long, it annoys me pretty much. But I agree, where has the respect gone?

Let's do away with the nicknames and register our national identification numbers instead... Along with a complete street address.
Well, that wouldn't be very smart, would it? Considering there are a lot of "I would have killed you in real life if I'd have known where you live"-people on the internet.

That's exactly why we should do it! People would be so afraid to get stalked by some random psycho that they'd behave and make sure the psycho didn't take an interest in them.

I haven't seen any real cursing going on but people tend to blame there teammates when something goes wrong calling them: "Morons/Idiots/Noobs" and even starting Polls when somebody supposedly "kill steals" there target. or just simply kicking the enemy because they killed them.

I'm glad to see there is still some real decency in warband, Its just a tad harder to find then it was before.

I never get mad when some one "kill steals" because I do not know 100% that the guy wouldn't have killed me if my team mate hadn't killed him.

Well for people like me, the real joy comes in winning the actual games, not getting the most kills.

Once the annoying people start to lose interest in the game, I predict that all will be well again.

I swear when I play, mostly never at someone, mostly just "Damn" or "****", and when i say ****ing archers I mean archers as a class...  But i have insulted some idiots.

I respect players who play fairly, play good and play clean. And those who sacrifices themselves for team victory.

I swear sometimes but it is not directed at other players its more like dam how did i not see that archer
it is really annoying when people start a poll because someone (me) is wasting everyone

Indeed, kicking because someone kills you is just lame, no one should ever do it, even if just for the luls, it annoys everyone.

Polls in general should have a cooldown or something. I just never read them anymore, I just press "2" as soon as they show up to get the text out of my screen.

You should hit 'ESC' so that your vote won't count to the total.

I've said a few **** You's to the other team when my internetz rage has been uncontrollable. And I did rage quit once, in that same session. Little to commend me in that situation, but it wasn't out of the blue. Assholes tend to join lower populated servers, which are the only ones where my ping is acceptable. So I join, and they make me angry, and I generally ignore them but sometimes you just want to pull hair out.
