What happened to the promised follow-up post for future plans?

You are editing it though, which is the usual thing you do when stuffing them full of insults. Like, at first it was "in attempt to evade consequences, huh prick" now the "prick" part is gone.

edit: "STFU" is gone as well
Funny 'cause it's true.

In case anyone doubts the truth of what I said earlier, here's a couple examples from the incident stevehoos has referred to.

He makes his flame post, sees that the intended person has spotted it, then deletes it. This wasn't the first time for him, not by a long shot. I do like the immediate assumption that it was me & that I'm some kind of SJW because of it. He knows as well as I do that I have never even given him a warning on this forum, 'cause he would have been notified of it by a PM with my name on it. He also has zero warnings on the old forum. Pretty wild take from him, but oh well.

@Orion maybe this is not a proper place to ask this but in old forums, messages of people were not deleted or edited by moderators so everyone could see why a person got the punishment(I am lurking on these forum well enough to know that moderators do proper judgments). So there were no conspiracies about how moderators do their job(well, actually there was but not much as this). Also, sometimes it was good to read some forum dramas. Why change the old approach?

that's nonsense. the mods and admins have been deleting and editing infringing posts for literally more than a decade.

sometimes it gets left up with a public note added if it's not too bad, sometimes we just edit out the most flamey part, sometimes it gets deleted. it is that way now, and it was that way on the old forum too.

this is like how Larian said a month ago "we'll be back soon with a community update"

that turned out similarly to this

Monty's right, it has been standard practice since before I was a moderator to remove particularly bad content from posts when issuing warnings. It's left up to each individual mod's discretion, though we check on each other regularly to maintain some semblance of consistency.

That being said, it hasn't been that way for as long as Monty said except for things like piracy, porn, etc. More like 7 years or so for heavy flaming, from the Mad Dawg/Alene/Brutus/Goker v2 period.

in this case though it's not like anyone would really think there's some kind of conspiracy from the mods.
But my lad, you are wrong! There are credible facts that indicate that the moderators are secretly in league with George Soros and the Deep State! That's why they use triangles for the Forum page UI and the drop-down menus!
