What happened to Bread?

Besides already mentioned need for fresh bred made by soldiers themselves I would not be surprised that the religious reason is behind why we do not have "leavened" bread (nor unleavened nor softly leavened to be just).

After eating 1 year grain with fish i start to ask my self what happened to bread, was it too complex for Bannerlord?

Well, scrapping bread just shows that TW are always prepared to go against the grain and change things. I just hope that they can RISE to the occasion and provide us with a wholesome and tasty substitute... then I will have full confidence that TW truly is among the upper crust of game developers.
I will stop now.

Bread wasn't invented in bannerlord time

To be fair, in one dev blog they mentionned grain as being the basis for everyday soldier life, making flour, bread, etc.

I guess they felt it would be redundant?

Although I will say, having a cooking skill or NPC that could improve the food turning it into... tastier stuff could be interesting.

Oh, this could be very nice indeed!
Actually I prefer this as a skill instead of smithing... (in it's current form anyways)
