What gets you banned?

Ahh ok is it just me or there seems to be a big increase of banned people recently. I seriously have no intentions to create a thread to debate  if it was just or not. It’s the moderators responsibility and right to do so as they please; but still I couldn’t stop but wondering what gets you banned. 

Both the forum and the moderators seem quite relaxed, people seem to use a free range of language without any complaints and everybody seems to be enjoying the forum.   

So am kind of puzzled.

Asking for serials or other piracy related behaviour ( just connected to M&B by the way or general ? ) 

i would also include being a idiot but the place seems full of vaegirs

By far the greatest amount of bans come from people asking for or giving away cracks to M&B.  It is the fastest way to a permaban, most other offenses are just going to get you long temporary ones.  Unfortunately, the second most frequent cause is people trying to circumvent that temp.

It's worth noting that there usually seems to be an increase in bannings around the time of a new release, because there is a large increase of members, and so on.

It's a respect issue too. If you come into someone's house, and they stop you at the door and say "oh by the way, this word offends me... don't use it while you're in my house"... and then you go ahead and use it, they have every right to kick your ass out.

Problem is, how did the younguns find out about the names they couldn't say?  Did they have a sacrificial old person yell out the names to the children then get summarily executed?

But yeah, it is strange how some words just get stigma for being that particular word. Things like its okay to yell out "crap!" might be okay but yelling out "****!" in the wrong company will get you stares, when they both have the same meaning..
