What exatly is the claimant bug of 1.113?

I heard that supporting a claimant is broken on this patch, if there a way to fix it? what is the problem exatly? i dont want to risk doing it before i know.

You cannot complete any of the claimant quests.  There currently is not any resolution to the matter.  I suspect the devs are working to fix this.  I have heard no ETA on the latest patch though I am expecting it to be significant considering the time delay.

Its because swadians and vaegirs are almost completly detroyed, and i though that joining any as claimant helper would make it easy to rebuild their kingdoms

Joining a claimant while already a vassal of their faction will start your own faction instead of adding you to X_Rebels. Furthermore, if you start the claimant quest while not a vassal of any realm, you will be unable to assign fiefs to lords that join the claimant faction. The dialogue to suggest fief assignments works, but the fiefs remain unclaimed and ungarrisoned.

Is this still the case where you cannot give fiefs? Was going to try the claimant helping quest. But perhaps no....

As a vassal of the Nords I started the claimant quest for the Nords and it seemed to have triggered my own kingdom instead. I can assign fiefs and all that but I get the claimant dialogue etc.

you owned land and joined a claimant, so the game started player faction instead of rebel. it will work fine for you--dunno how itll transfer to patch 1.121 though

It works fine in the sense that all the Lords are swearing to Far-Seeker, not me, and I get tons of error code constantly.

I'm considering bailing on the quest and just taking it all back for myself.

well I don't know about you guys, but with 1.133, I successfully managed to put Arwa the pearled one on the Sarranid throne.

You just musn't be a vassal of any faction I believe and it works.

And you have only max. 4 lords at your side because you can't assign the fiefs so it gets a bit longer to accomplish. NOT HARDER!!!! but longer.

You pay nothing for the unassigned castles and that's probably as big advantage as having 20 lords at your side. Just my opinion.
