What do you Think about the New 'Campaign' Single Player Mode?

I think it will be like that brother mission on Warband those missions will just stay there. Sure they might bother me from time to time bu not a big deal
Yes, that is clearly looking like this.
There is, in fact, three missions composing this "campaign" : recruting 5 troops, releasing the brother, fighting in town.
It could seems Armagan wanted to create a campaign but do not get very far  (that's a weak guess on my part )

LOL I always completely ignored that mission I guess. Or it was so slight that I just can't remember it.

My last play through I did the Merchant of Praven quest for old times sake. Perhaps in Bannerlord we will get the Merchant of Pravend quest.

:xf-tongue:

It could be done in 10 minutes, so you likely just cant remember it. Some mods remove it completely, so maybe if you only play with mods, it might not be there at all.

Talking about Viking dlc. It is 100% one of the fondest memories I have of warband! The music was pure gold! I dont think campaign will be at all simular to it but would love to see a viking or another historical dlc to the game!

I feel it depends on how they have done it, however I generally think it is a good idea as it will help ease newcomers into the game, and I'm all for anything that helps people get into mount and blade.

pretty sure the campaign is another name for the tutorial, as in, how they will present all those 100s features in a linear way (from baby adventurer all the way to big noble leading 1000 soldiers). But if they do it well it could turn into a pretty fun experience (at least once, like most RPG).

they need a way to explain how the game works, right? And a quick combat tutorial doesnt cover much for the campaign.

"but I am a 100 years veteran with 10,000 hours of Warband and mods, I dont need a tutorial!" -> skip it

only a 100 years? youngling... i have 12*12 years…. my cat has more years than you ;D Well i do think it will be part tutorial, but more to get into the world, as the warband "story" did, but i just think it will have more to it, so a mix between what warband did and what viking conquest did.

But that make sense for a total strange. I think campaign will have a different start depending on your background.

Btw when i said it would be like that brother mission i meant in terms of its effect on your game if you choose to ignore it. It will probably be a lot longer than that i heard it was about the assassinated emperor and probably be more like viking conquest where it lets you into an openworld when story ends
