What do you do for a living?

I'm starting this thread mainly out of curiosity, but you never know, some valid professional contacts might be born out of this.

I'm a freelance English & German > Portuguese translator; I work at home and all my professional activities are done through the Internet (job quoting, client communication, file transfer, etc.).

I'm a club owner and my wife is now a regional manager of a major retailer.

This, except I get paid to do that while running the overnight shift at one of the campus computer labs.

At the moment I'm "working" for my fathers business i dont really get paid at the moment cause he says i work for my internet and food and everything else i get for free while i live in his house(thats cause im 18 now)...... ANYWAY his business is a scrapping one. he makes more then he did in his job before this, i usually just help him whenever he needs me. Witch usually consists of heavy lifting and sifting thru material for other material that doesn't belong there. yesterday he had me strip wire, that's where i get a utility knife and start stripping the sheath off of it. i have cuts on my left hand and blisters on my right now but i get paid when i do this =)
