Subscribed to spotify+a meditation app bundle today for 5 pounds per month. Started mindfulness a month ago and 10 being the best thing to do in life I give it a solid 8. It was probably easiest quick fix for my well-being(super cheap and requires no willpower at all, it rather increases your willpower. here's a meta-study on why it works) and I feel like I gained a new superpower. I might not have needed the app for it, but it has a nice interface that makes the thing more attractive, keeps track of my stats and gives a sense of progress, organises and structures the thing around themes to make it easier, and the guy guiding the practice has a very soothing and charismatic voice.

Why? Paying is for fools. While still queuing alongside the bus, you should look at your feet, tut, then duck down out of sight. After a short while, crawl slowly and stealthily onto the bus and slither up the stairs out of sight to the upper deck. Wedge yourself beneath one of the double seats, ignoring any stickiness, and fall asleep. As well as keeping you out of sight of the driver, this interestingly means that you take up no seats, and so you can banish any thoughts of guilt- the bus can fill up with as many paying passengers as ever.

This technique works best if you are the last person in the queue. It is critical to leave long enough that the driver has forgotten that there seemed to be another person waiting to get on, but not so long that he actually drives off. No doubt your fellow fee paying passengers will stare at you in confusion and bemusement, but pay no heed to them. Play it cool and nobody will say a word.

I also bought a 'millionaire's shortbread' from a food dispensing establishment. It tasted of chocolate, sweet biscuity material and caramel. I intend to return tomorrow and buy the patent from the creator of this tasty confection, and sell these shortbreads nationwide. I will soon be rich!

Thanks for reminding me, I actually have a spare premium spotify pass which I haven't gotten around to giving to anyone yet.

On topic I bought some prosecco for various family members today. Personally not a fan but women seem to like it.

Recently I spent more money than I've ever spent in my life. For the first time I have the best PC from among my friends when I usually have the worst and am accepting hand-me-down graphics cards and RAM whenever they upgrade. So far I've only enjoyed PUBG, Hellblade and World's Adrift on my new rig, but I should probably go for the Taleworlds dream: an uncapped battle sizes Warband playthrough.

Today I bought our monthly stock of dog food. 7 bags of Pride and 7 bags of Diamond dog food, totaling up to $432.04 by the end of it. It's a bit pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it and I only have to sell 12 Pyrenees pups a year to break even on the feed.

None of the local stores stock "Spicy" Doritos anymore, so I opted to try the "Flamas" ones. I figured they'd taste like the old "Salsa Verde" ones they sold years ago, and they do. Except that the hot spices have been cranked up to 11. They're really good, but very painful to eat. I regret being out of yogurt.
