What character do you like to RP as?

I roleplay as a Machiavellian, manipulative (and very good at it) huckster (IE no noble blood or any real claim)  who will stop at nothing to rule Pendor. If you read fantasy maybe something along the lines of a cross between Kelhus and Jeorg of Ancrath  :wink:.

Still less creepy than the evil laugh of women when they win.

I found it sexy. Unless I'm being destroyed by a few maiden adventurers and nobles early game.

Creepy = 1
Sexy = 1

The voice is that of Fawzia who in real life was a scholar, horse rider, and could use and shoot an AK-47 and did so upon occasion.  Oh.. and lets not forget her real scimitars she had over her bed and that she used to chase an overzealous priest from her house when he tried to convert her to his religion.

Best regards,

Saxondragon

I friggin' love that Amazon war wail. No "ladylike" affectation, just straight up equal uninhibited revelry in the guts and glory of a battle won.

I always play the embodiment of nobility or, at least, try to be as noble as circumstance allows. I always release farmers and refugee captives without ransom, same goes for captive noble wives/daughters, never raid villages or enemy faction caravans (unless I aid a friendly lord in combating them or they carry any juicy captives in their prisoner train), I do extort money from them however. In my current playthrough (still in 5.1), I re-established the Order of the Griffon (because they are the embodiment of Pendor) and became a member. I won't re-establish the Gauntlets because they do not strike me as noble enough, even though their prowess is terrific. I plan on taking Singal and Valonbray for myself albeit for a little, just enough to dismantle the Dawn and Eventide morons and wait for the day till Oswald re-appears to either chop his head off or put him in a cell to rot. I treated Sir Darlion dishonorably, I admit it, since I took his quest just to have his horse and then ditched him, but, hey, no one is perfect.

Oh, and I never slaughter cattle. Never. Ever.

I'm doing a let's play of the mod, and my viewers decide my character. This time, they decided I should play as a gay exhibitionist. I wear no armour, and aren't allowed to kill male troops, only knock them out and capture them for my  :oops: dungeons.

o_O...

Well good thing your character is gay, because he's going to get shafted and peppered by so many arrows.

I started out as Sir Mitchell, the Blood Lion, working my way up as a mercenary and gained favor of the Sarleon faction.

I then remained with my title and begain gaining popularity amongst the lords.

I then convinced the sack of Ethos and we took and I gained it as my keep.

I changed my name to Baron Mitchell and founded the Adamant Knights.

Thats kind of where I left off. Just working on getting a qualis gem and building my order up before i decide to take any further drastic steps.

I'm around day 700

You should keep the blood lion title. Baron Mitchell, the Blood Lion, as The Blood Lion is a nickname you are known for in the game.

It wouldn't fit, I tried.

Not even Mettenheim Vaseline or El Loco could help me.

I usually am the small band of 'ranger' type of friendly guys helping out people and fighting for freedom. Will restart the Kingdom of Pendor after living with an old man as a child who told me of how the Noldor were a good people ( Yea screw you guys, Noldor are my friends and you can suck it ) and told me of the old pendor. But now i am Maximus Decimus Meridius (I know not fitting but still love the name from Gladiator, anyone who can guess my favorite quote from the movie wins friendship!)

My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

It must be my age group but I was surprised at the thought people might not recognise the quote.  :razz:

I like to keep at least a couple saves going and mix it up both in fighting styles and how the character is rped. A lot of times I'll read a book or have an idea stick in my head and want to create a character (books on vikings always get me wanting to go with Fierdsvain culture, for instance!).

Right now I have two main characters going for 3.6. One is Bertrand. For anyone familiar with Warhammer fantasy he's supposed to be a Bretonnian knight. The faction in warhammer is a mishmash of medieval France and Arthurian myths. He was the first character I owned a castle with in Mount and Blade (played diplomacy back then) and was about level 28 but not well statted (lots of wasted points). After holding onto the save for years I finally imported him. Bretonnian knights in Warhammer occasionally go on quests, leaving their possessions behind and trying to gain the attention of their deity through acts of valor and earn a chance to sip from the grail. So I rped him as a questing knight traveling to Pendor and set some personal conditions before he could join a faction and get land (specifically, must slay a Demonic Magnus, drink an elixir, and have Aestrea speak to him). Now he's a noble of Sarleon, grandmaster of the Knights of the Lion, and spawned an Order of imitators wishing to go on a Bretonnian quest. Once their equipped and statted up I plan on taking a bunch of them and hunting minor spawns.

My other character Emma is a trader type, and contrary to Bertrand fights on foot and primarily with a ranged weapon (crossbow). She's more interested in owning enterprises and making money on trade, but is slowly getting sucked into quests and heroics. Both characters will save villagers and help people out, but Bertrand does it more out of feudal obligations and a sense of honor and Emma more out of compassion and a sense of fair play. Bertrand also has more attachment to a single faction and is unlikely to try to start the Kingdom of Pendor.

Every once in a while I want to make a villainous type and join the Order of the Eventide (even more now with the new Order ranks) but I have trouble keeping badguy types going. Guess I want to be a hero or something.  :razz:

I roleplay as a Numenorean wearing Gondor Numenorean armor (i added them myself so nvm) wielding the sword of dol armoth and riding on a noldor steed... Every Companion is a Numenor by his heritage and gets similar looking armor, the banner of the white tree flies over my castle of whitestag as i ride onward with 30 noldor nobles at my displosal and my knights of Numenor being assembled as we speak.

The war with Sarleon wages on but my 200 men strong army consisting of 90% knights is unbeatable by anyone but the noldor which i have yet good relations with.

I took 80% of the sarleon vassals hostage and use em to pay up the cost (around 7k per week) of my army upkeep :grin: soon there will no sarleon lord be left and other nations shall join in the fighting as sarleon will lay weakened on the floor of pendor.

If not for the many income i had from various town guildsmen my army would have already drowned in debts XD
But I need it until i have fully upgraded my army and can finally use it :razz:
