Arcanum 说:For me the extent of the RP has been going for mainly one troop type, of the faction I join before striking out on my own of course.
But before that i usually try to have an eclectic little band of mercs, fancying myself kind of like the landshneckt as I wear the most ostentatious armor I can find with a winged helm for added pimp factor.
Once I join a faction I swap over to the heraldric plate and mail to show my true allegiance and eventually my merry little band dies off through repeated battles to be replaced by a crack force of highly trained professionals. And cannon fodder in the form of recruits.
I've only wrapped up one like that and it was with Imperial troops, this time for 3.6 I'm thinking Sarleon or the fierds. Probably Sarleon for that sweet, sweet heavy cav and archers that can actually kill something at range.

I tought the salreon cavarly was the weakest one, I choose factions who are strong on cav, isn't the Empire the one with the strong unit?

Empire Cavalry sucks for the most part, the only good thing about them being the fact they are relatively quick to train.

Arcanum 说:Imperial Knights = utter garbage compared to other faction knights.
However, they do evolve into Immortals (Amongst the most deadly of deadly infantry) and shaodw legionaires (which I refuse to use since they break the game by being utterly unstoppable in large numbers. Why do you think Syla Uzas is such a pain in the butt to beat?)

Arcanum 说:Well when you find them be sure to tell me. There is no one faction that's best at everything. Empires good with infantry and archers so stick to your guns and get some Immortals. You'll be hard to beat if you camp your spawn point, even more so if you're on a hill.
