Yeah I know it may sound boring  :???:

But I found out that very few people (that I know) know about Avant browser that I use.
It's 'only' a trident-based browser (based on Explorer) but it has some great features that I wouldn't live without:
1. Very efficient AD-blocker
2. Right click functions/mouse gestures.
Right click and drag mouse either left or right to navigate through pages. Instead of hitting the little arrow in left corner each time
Or move mouse up to open a new page - or almost anything you like as right click function.
    Do other browsers have that?

Right click gestures would be a waste of time for me, since I use my mic rather than mouse for web browsing.

Never heard of using a mic.
So you simply say 'open', 'close' or 'left', right' Or whatever?
That's even more handy than right clicking. Heck, it's not even hand:razz:
What browser(s) supports that feature?

Yup, or if it's struggling you can request it to number all clickable items and just tell it which number you want.

Vista

Firefox:

-Tabs, and tab overflow
-Add ons
-Ad blocking
-Download manager
-Add ons
-Fast
-Add ons
-Customizable
-Inbuilt RSS reader
-Keyword Searches
-Add ons

Did I mention it has add ons? Well, there's an IRC add on, Ad-Block Pro which can literally block anything, Media downloaders, Mouse Gestures, Automatic tweaking tools and so on.

EDIT: All without having to have another toolbar like internet exploder

Firefox. When I first started surfing the web in 1996 I used netscape. Then after netscape 4.7 or so netscape got bought out and they stunk. I used Netscape 4.7 as long as I could until most webpages wouldn't support it, then I grudgingly switched to explorer for awhile then I was happy to find Firefox. Im real silly, I get bothered by words being renamed. I was used to reload, not refresh. Bookmarks, not favorites. Firefox feels like netscape. Plus they have the nifty multiple search engine in the upper right corner so I dont need a bloody portal page anymore. I can just pick whatever page I want as my home even if there is no search engine on it.

Archonsod! Sir! Please shoot me a linky with information regarding this mic browsing. My partner is disabled and dyslexic! This would be perfect. Please tell me I dont have to get vista and it works with something like Ubuntu. Thank you for telling me this is possible.

I use Firefox simply becuase it handles downloads better. Having special buttons to go forward or back would bother me since I have a mouse with side buttons.

Vista version is the best I've seen so far, especially when it comes to integrating with the OS. To be honest, you could probably justify buying Vista on the speech recognition tool alone.

Tends to be less well implemented for Linux, for obvious reasons (given the price for most commercial products, you may as well buy Vista). Found this , but AFAIK it's still a hit and miss affair in Linux.

Someone just said you could look at more things in fire fox without opening more. But doesn't IE have that as well? I can open plenty of tabs.

Thank yoiu Archonsod. I am a real stubborn masochist so I will attempt to get the Linux version working. Its good to know it is possible at least!
