You should find what matters to you the most. Not general things like "friendship" or "knowledge" or "sex" and such, but concrete things you often find yourself thinking about (and it's not sex). For example, if you think about strange shaped pebbles a lot, start collecting and reading up on them. If you think about burning stuff, become a pyromaniac (or even better, hang out with firemen / at the local firestation). If you tend think about massacring your enemies with sharp objects, start learning to fight (that one worked for me). My point is, you should find your road to walk on, because walking on it will give you shelter from yourself, and will leave no time and energy to grind away on depression.
I'll give it a try.

I think mine will be really odd-- I think about breaking things frequently, and I think about creating things frequently -- fire and ice I guess.

You know you are irritated at work when you start trying to figure out which ASoIaF villains your co-workers best embody. So far I have Walder Frey, Black Walder Frey, Ramsay Snow, Janos Slynt, Lysa Tully, Ladies Falyse Stokeworth and Lollys Stokeworth.

That's true, and I thought of that as I was putting it together. She can be sneaky and conniving but is generally a soft-minded, soft-bodied dimwit.

When I worked at a call centre and was first reading the books, there were a couple of people who I imagined the characters looking like. There was a woman I called The Mountain in my head because she was generally shaped like a mountain, and envisioned Lollys as looking like her. Another reeeeally fat chick with an androgynous face was my visual template for Samwell Tarly.

Found Leifr and Nahkuri playing the Deluge, they charged as fast as I could see and I was like : There are 20 enemies left!
