Im playin Conker:Live and Reloaded at the moment. I never played thee origonal on the N64 so i thought id give it a go! I would definatly recommend anyone to get it for the multiplayer.... the one player pisses me off and im also playing Morrowind but i spent 3 years solid playing it and i can safly say i have been in every house, Dwarven, Daedric and caves!

I liked Vampire Bloodline: Masquerade but I couldn't get on Elizabeth Dane. I think it's a bag.

I'm quite busy with The Operational Art of War: Century of Warfare. It's quite fun when you play against human opponent via mail.
Currently I'm fighting as German against Russians in 1941, as Russian against Poles in 1920 and German against Poles in 1939.
Quite entertaining.

Got the Gothic 2 demo, and got hooked on it. Could anyone give me some combat hints? I found out how to do slashes and such, and with W-A-D you can slash quickly 3 times, and S is for blocking. After some fights with Matteo and guards, I learned that there's some sort of "sweet spot", on which you can inflict a huge amount of damage in one hit. Anyone got further information 'bout this? Thanks.

Dunno about sweet spots, I do notice some blows do more damage then others, I assume your combat skill has a lot to do with it. Also you can usually do 4-5-6 hit combos as skill increases with simply the 'up' arrow (or W however your controls are), but you have to leard to time it perfecty, there is a certain ammount of seconds that after you press W once, you press again for a second hit, and again for the third. Play around with it.

Make sure you get lockpicking too, most valuable skill ever, even more so with sneaking.

Thanks pavlov. Lockpicking is indeed very useful, already in the demo. I found a way to get in the storage room at Matteo's shop, and that way I can get the leather armour of 250 gold piecs for free. Could someone who played the first Gothic give me some quick gothic lore? Like what's the sleeper, who's Lester, etc... I ordered Gothic 2 over amazon (ebay only has the damn German version (horrible dubs)), can't wait for it to arrive.

The sleeper was the end boss of Gothic 1 - it was an ancient demon lord who was being worshiped by the sect camp, and they mananged to wake it up before realizing what it actually was. Lester is the guy who helps you find your way around the sect camp and he joins you for a few quests.
