Hi all,

i havent seen any guides around if there is one please let me know. My question is about what am i suppouse to do at start? i have a big army compare with other m&b mods. Shall i join one faction and attack others at start? any other alternatives? i guess i should make my own faction to enjoy SoD mostly. But how ?

Pretty much the same as you would normally, by amassing a good amount of money and planning where you'd like to settle and depending on your starting faction you might have advantages against a particular faction.

Compagnions dont need to be leveled much compared to earllier versions so all thats really left to do is make money train better troops and set enterprises.

My Starting method is tour the tournaments, bet hire, build businesses in every town you visit, then go take over the sarranids 'cause they run around in girly frocks and go squish when you whack them. Then rule over your new kingdom with style!!

I'm partial to creating a regiment and parking them someplace fairly safe where I plan to start a campaign.  Then I reinforce them so that no group of bandits will want to have anything to do with them.  You can create some very fat regiments this way because you don't get penalized for their size.  Spend the next few weeks increasing your treasury, gathering companions, and doing good works to improve relations.  Then when you are ready, either join a faction or start a new kingdom with your first conquest immediately adjacent to where you've been camping your regiments. I do like the speed increase you get for small, all-mounted parties.  Putting slow infantry away in storage while you chase the latest tourney makes sense to me, though.

Please note that I haven't "played" the mod yet, I've only tested it for functionality.  I am literally unaware of how this would play out if I wasn't starting the mod with a stacked deck.
