What about DLSS 2.0 and Raytracing?

This game is awesome when playing with 3rd person mod (I use to put the camera very far away to realize about the landscapes). It is a pity not to have dlss to improve performance. I also have a litlle complain about g-sync, because it is not smooth enought with 50-60 fps, and it should.

Yeah would be nice but its something they should implement only if they have manpower and resources over without dividing em. Right now they really need to concentrate with everyone on their products core in my opinion. Finish that then polish on the sides. "To build an tower you need first an stable foundation"

What is up with all the threads of this lately?

I'm sure if ray tracing and dlss are a sound option for development they will/would have been done. It seems like a silly feature to ask for, especially if you have a 20XX series card as they take a 20-30% hit on performance with ray tracing and often times add results that are completely subjective. The 30XX series looks like it will handle it a lot better, but regardless...

20-30% better performance for 30% more energy (2080ti vs 3080), this is not an improvement it's a scam. The 3090 is a complete joke 10% better than 3080 for twice the price. And remember this is over 20 months period.

The big difference here comes with the price. To buy a 2080ti in Canada it was like 1600$, and that's on the low end. The RTX 3080 can be bought for 900, that's a 700 dollar difference for a card that's 30% faster. If you didn't buy into the 20XX (aka you were smart as 10XX to 20XX was a miniscule leap) then the 30XX series is actually reasonable. Certainly better than what AMD is offering with radeon, although Ryzen is doing great.

The only reason you think the price is so "reasonable" now is because the RTX 2000 series was such an overpriced garbage generation and adaptation was poor because of it. Samsung 8 nm (more like 10+ nm) is a bad node and they got the silicon for cheap but they knew in terms of performance it would look bad so they went for the power hungry cards with cool looking FE lineup that most people won't be able to get one and partner cards which have much cheaper manufacturing and material quality actually priced higher than the premium FE cards. Jensen is a great salesman but some people can see through all the BS.
