Okay people, now that the Holy Grail has come to a close and we´re still waiting for Ejnomad to resurface to continue the Princess Bride, there are many unoccupied players and so I´m going to host a quick game to keep those longing for some action entertained (including myself 
).
I spoke to FrisianDude, who is next in line to host a "full" game, and he´s okay with that. Mind you, I also want to keep my place in the hosting-line behind Frisian (as I have a setup for a big game), but this is meant to help us bridge the time until the remaining game comes to a close.
The game I´m planning on hosting is going to be small and fast paced (!). I want to go for 7-9 players maximum and the roles will be pretty standard. Days will last as long as there are players around (e.g. Day 1 - 7 players - 7 real life days, e.g. Day 2 - 5 players - 5 real life days), which means the pace will increase with every day. Nights will take no longer than 3 real life days. Put all that together and the game should be over in a month or less. To ensure good participation, people should post once every 24 hours. After 48 hours of inactivity, people will be replaced. If you cannot post for 1 or 2 days, please let us know in advance and exemptions to this rule will be made, but PLEASE be responsible and inform us in advance.
Also, please don´t sign up if you expect to go on vacation for two weeks within the next month. It is frustrating for the other players if somebody announces after 4 days that he/she will be gone for a long period of time. We all have our obligations (yeah, me too), but remember that by signing up you make a commitment to a group.
Now, above all, this is supposed to be fun, so enjoy! As a matter of fact, the more you enjoy playing this, the better the gameplay and the less dropouts we have.
Everyone is welcome to join this, new players as well as veterans. Those who have never played before should have a look at the basic rules before, though:

If you´ve never played before, please read those rules beforehand and also have a look at some earlier games (as this one will be small and rather traditional, I suggest to look at some small ones that can be found on this forum as well, you just have to dig deeper). This will help you getting into the game right off the bat.
