Oh, purple text was reserved for the mod in that game. Didn't we used to use a specific format for questions that players wanted to ask the mod in-game? Or have we done away with that?

...no posting of moderator supplied PMs (either real or fabricated)

And then deleting it once you realized you forgot to change the name of the role you were fake-claiming to it's non-wolf version, not that I've ever done that before or anything. :shifty:

Also it is frowned upon to be all like "omg, i wuz converted last night and Vieira iz da vampire" and things like that. In games where your allegiance is subject to change (which I doubt will be this one anyways, but good to know), just play along.

I would never sabotage my own team, don't worry about that.

That's why I was particularly peeved when a moderator claimed I had and modkilled me before reading our wolf chat where the gambit was spelled out in plain english. Not that I'm bitter about that or anything and will never ever let that go. Perish the thought.

You ****er.

The wolves still won the game though.

I think we should stop talking about that game because it is going to bring back Adaham's PTWWD flashbacks.

You don't have to worry about that here. As long as you don't break the rules, sabotaging your own team is fair game, if you think it will give you a better chance of winning. We have plenty of cases where a wolf throws a packmate under the bus for no apparent reason, sometimes with great results.

I'm a master of bussing, defending, or hiding in the neutral zone, my teammates. You can't read me for spew effectively.

But I can and do bus.

No, this guy claimed I was trying to deliberately wreck my team, and it was laughable considering I was vetting everyone's fake claims, advising against certain claims, telling people not to bus each other since there was a rival mafia team out there, it wouldn't help, and I was pulling off a gambit which would have gotten the other team to hit a villager while we hit them, and then I had an epic claim prepared to lynch another one of them.

But all that was pointless because I was "sabotaging" my team so I got modkilled before the plan was finished, because we can't take the time to read the wolfchat before we modkill someone for "sabotage".

Lal, lel, lil, lol, lul.

Hope I didn't come off sounding like I was too far gone up my own  just then, by the way.

I don't think I'm hot  any more than the rest of you are. I just am confident that I'm not a saboteur or useless. Heh.

Don't worry, we have several players with hugely inflated egos. That wasn't even boasting by our standards.

At least our dear Whoopin has genuine success with his ego-luck and uses his bravado as an effective tool to help his hunting. That's not nearly as bad as Hawk's revolution in wolf hunting, with which he's had so much "success"...
