If you've read you should realize I have been potentially considering you innocent, so the continued response of "blah blah it won't matter because you think I am a wolf" is not helping.

I've been reading it but it reads more or less exactly like a villager who isn't really seriously considering it that strongly, most of your questions seem to be of the suspicious person kind, not the help me understand you truly, kind.

It's fine. I'll still answer them but you have to make those decisions on your own- there's only so much I can contribute to the thread which can budge a mind that doesn't really want to.

You're of two minds about it, but you're really not ready to embrace the idea. That's how i read you. I can answer your questions but I don't see how they will be particularly helpful to persuade you.

Much of this is making a choice- there's plenty of stuff in the thread to base my alignment on. If your gut wrenches you away from a certain choice, it takes a high degree of bravery to just pick a side, against your gut.

That's hard. I know it is. I had to make that choice about you, for example.

Just because you don't see any value doesn't mean I or others see value. As I've said, the things you think you are doing that are innocent are not in any way what I would consider to be innocent, so actually ****ing answering the questions I've asked WOULD IN FACT HELP. I am ready to embrace the idea when you are ready to embrace the idea of not being an ******* and thinking your methods are far superior to what any of us are trying to do.

And I do ask lots of questions that might not end up being useful, but I like to ask them anyways - it is the way I play.

Phonemelter 说:
Are you only suspicious of Hawk because of "ties" to Mag?

Mostly due to process of elimination, I have a large number of strong villager leans, and this player has exhibited no villager tells.

Welcome to the frustrated villager club.

The fact that I made the point with some snarkiness doesn't mean that the point wasn't made, or was any less legitimate. This is yet another argument I've present that you've outright ignored. You're not helping your position.

I have no objective to persuade you of anything, and I do not believe your arguments are a valid defense.

To partially answer your question, I don't share your read of Soot playing both sides when it comes to the melted pizza argument. I detect no hint of him waiting to just jump on the most convenient wagon.

Then I will convince you otherwise. All I ask in the meantime is that you keep an open mind and do not preclude Soot from your lynch list just yet.

At the very least, the impression he is giving is that he genuinely thinks both are innocent, and any sudden change in this interpretation is grounds for hanging.

Ugh, this sentence hurts my brain. Do you mean that any change in YOUR interpretation of Soot's play should be grounds for hanging YOU, or that any interpretation by Soot of the Pizza/Melter innocent interaction is grounds for hanging HIM? I'm guessing the latter but want it clarified.

You talked about Soot's interactions with Mag. What do you think of a possible Soot-Mag pack?

Lemme re-read their interactions today with this in mind and get back to you tonight; I only have 40 mins left to get ready for work and I still have a couple of responses to make to other people.

@Pizzaguy

That would all depend on who is lynched today and how they flip. Someone else flips wolf unexpectedly would make my first priority to examine the thread for their wolf buddies.

AORN there's nothing persuading me off of Magorian or Hawk for today as my top 2.

Eli I would push to mid-game or later, regardless of the flips. I have no intention to lynch Eli presently for the reasons I've stated a couple times.

Unfortunately, this wasn't the answer I was hoping for, because it means I really was over-thinking something I thought I saw in your masterplan^tm, that is, a plan behind a plan. If you're interested enough in what I thought I saw, and you remember later on, ask me after the game end. Now I will have to go through your masterplan^tm wall and give you my verdict, I would normally do that at lunchtime at work but I gotta go out at lunch so it might be tomorrow night before I get this done.

LoS on Adaham
[/quote]

I'm struggling to believe that you actually believe this yourself. The main difference between Adaham's play in this game and his play in the last game is his more casual banter, especially @ Pizzaguy, and the fact that he has a couple of times interjected in Pizzawars in an attempt to stop them from completely taking over the thread, something which you yourself thought was an innocent action.

You claim he's done very little actual hunting. He did very little actual hunting on Day 1 in the last game, too, mostly riding off the information other people generated without making a concerted effort to get deeply involved. So that you are calling scum now what you called innocent in the last game, and basing the majority of your opinion on it, just comes across as extremely selective interpretation.

At least I'm making a read based on this game.

SootShade 说:
Just forgive me my own meta induced paranoia against her in turn, as I'll say that I will never again give a confident villager read on her - the last time I did it was because our reads were almost all the same, and she was still a wolf.

Interesting.

Of course you don't have to try to convince me that I'm a wolf. That's obvious folly no matter what our respective roles are. But if you were an innocent it would be your job to convince other people that I were a wolf. And while you may not find my arguments to be valid, many other people have specifically said that they do. If you actually cared about lynching wolves, addressing those concerns would be a top priority. Attacking a player and outright ignoring any counterarguments is the behavior of a wolf, because it is indicative of a player who wants to appear active but has no real investment in lynching a particular target.

@Maggie:

Going back a bit back for this one -

Magorian Aximand 说:
The Mag lynch won't happen today.

Why did you think this at the time? There certainly were close to enough people to found you suspicious from the looks of it - how could you be so sure?

Also, your past 50 or so posts have just been going back and forth with Pizza. As fine as I am with that in itself, there has not been much else you have given input on since your LoS on page 25 - have any of your suspicions / thoughts on anyone changed since then?
