Of course villagers can have imperfect reasoning, even to the point of hypocrisy. The problem is when a person has the problem in the reasoning clearly demonstrated, in this case in very obvious hypocrisy, but then persists with the argument as though it were sound. When this behavior is repeated with multiple arguments against multiple targets it's demonstrative of a pattern of carelessness in the formulation of ideas and lack of investment in the soundness of their arguments. That is wolfish, as that leads to mislynches. The perpetrator of such behavior, the person who advances arguments that clearly cannot be relied upon to find wolves, does not care about finding wolves.
We're not vulcans, but when we're clearly and knowingly wrong, tenacity is not a virtue.

The one where I said that you needed to be serious because people expected crazy, or the one where I laughed my ass off at your brilliant humor? I don't remember one relevant to you misrepresenting a series of events in order to make another player look more suspicious than they actually were.
And I don't even know how the resistance games work.
