There's something you need to understand about NeoXardobism, which certain people in this game are trying to practice. NeoXardobism does not really contain any villagery processes. It involves posting your suspicions but not really pushing for them, or elaborating on why those suspicions exist, but rather expecting people to acknowledge you are a good hunter and go do the homework for themselves and reach the same conclusions as you.

Xardob did have some mild success with it, but it's a method which ultimately ends up getting you killed, because either a lot of people think you're scum and vote you (sometimes with the help of a vote-rushing role) or you leave so little in-depth interaction behind that the wolves give away very little by killing you because there's no real trail of breadcrumbs to follow. NeoXardobism is one of the reasons why Xardob has ended up dead by the end of Night 2 in the past... I dunno, six?... games he has played. And I suspect it's also one of the reasons why he's starting to abandon that method now that the baton has been passed, and why he is making a slight return to investigative WoTs.

TLR? Don't expect anybody who claims to be practicing "NeoXardobism" to display a villagery process. If they said they're doing NeoXardobism and displaying a villagery process, then they're doing it wrong.

Reading him as innocent and deliberately trying to stop pursuit on him are two different things. I see Magorian doing one, but not the latter. It's an even further stretch to claim he claim credit for anything.

I guess we're not gonna convince anybody about that. The "lack of hunting" thing is getting old, but I guess it's part of WW lingo, so go ahead. What I'd really like to know, is what you think about the bit I wrote about Xardob. Some of it could be perfectly valid even if I'm wrong about you.

@Llandy: Your post about Neoxardobism and it's TL;DR version differ in one major aspect. In the long version, you are basically mocking the effectiveness of Neoxardobism and explaining Xardob's return to a longer style as "him having his lesson learned". Why the need to defend him? Do you really know for sure that this is why he changed his style? Or is this something from the spammaster QT? If that is so, please remember that the game shouldn't be discussed outside the thread. Therefore, unless you are packies, you have no reason to know why he changed his style. Also, you have no reason to believe he changed his style again because he saw the wrongness of his doing, only because you prefer his other style better. Control your emotions, young padawan!

You do realize I would literally spend the next 8 hours sitting here uninterrupted, continuing the discussion relentlessly, responding to every post and thought directed at me, if I thought it would actually do something productive? If not, you've been informed.

I select what I respond to because most of the stuff I haven't responded to finds no wolves and clears no villagers if I respond to it.
