[Werewolf] SMAC: Unity [Game ends!]

I want to finally get a lean, any lean, on Eli before I agree with that lynch. I am concerned, he's the last neutral on my list. I am really really struggling to read Eli and I think a different approach would help me immensely.

Would people consider dropping a "villager" or "wolf" read on Eli, no elaboration necessary, just a quick off the cuff read?

If I can't read Eli directly I can always read Eli indirectly by measuring the temperature of the thread. Sort of like how I read afk people or low-posters. Indirect read time.

Eli is a wolf, yea, nay? @ literally everyone including Phone and Vieira (maybe even especially so).

I know that when I play werewolf, a prophylactic approach to humor is a priority.

Always wear a prophylactic when you're considering boning a fellow villager.  Wink.

You can suspect me all you like Magorian. Until you start doing it dishonestly, you're solid, solid blue.

Also, humor is a vital villager tell. Read my above joke and tell me it's not villagery.

If it were humor that didn't raise an eyebrow, I wouldn't have mentioned it.

It's not on par with Eli's backdoor factory, but it caught my eye.

I have to run from the thread and go on a long car drive soon and I'm not sure if/when I get net access back. Fingers crossed it is immediately.

I am enjoying this game much more than I anticipated, and it's not just because Adaham is here.

Frankly, Adaham, you're almost an afterthought so far, but I appreciate the banter a lot, make no mistake.

Your friends are truly interesting to me and I am considering making my stay here more permanent, not just a one game deal like it probably was over on IsoStardust's home board.

Also, I don't need to know about Eli's backdoor factory. I don't want to know what's coming down or going up that particular assembly line.

Gut leaning towards wolf, yes, but I cannot tell if the anger / aggression coming from him is due to being Scottish or a wolf yet.

Not vanilla villager, imo.

Wary of lynching there, but.... definitely agreeing something's weird.

Rule of thumb: If someone stays neutral for too long, they're not putting enough of themselves into the thread, and thus, are hiding.

Hiding what, I do not know.

May not lynch today but a persistent neutral lean is bad.

You'd actually be better off being a wolf lean that's interacting with me. It's better for everyone to analyze that.

I'm neutral on Kronic/Elisianthus right now. I can see his post (that I can't link to) as being potential wolf hedging his bets, but I don't have a feel either way on the rest of his posts.

Unfortunately (?) Having met Kronic IRL I know he swears all. the. god. damn. time. So I don't think that is indicative of alignment, just as Melter's sarcasm is not.

I didn't mean unfortunate to have met you BTW Kronic. You should speak to Lambie though, he's got me organising another meet for next June and he's in charge of the invites

I'll follow my own rules and say nay.

If I can allow an elaboration: Elaboration is that the nay could very, very quickly be a yea. And I agree with the reasons behind the yeas.

I'm just going out on a limb, not just to be contrarian- But I think Eli temporarily forgot how to be a vanilla villager.

And so, let's not lynch and let Eli draw that murder. And hey, if he doesn't, and he's not a nilla wafer, then more power to me.

Like, *everyone* is here right now and me leaving now is really upsetting me.

This is the main event and I only want to be right in the center of the brawl that's about to commence.

Well, at least there won't be 200 pizza posts today. Count your blessings.

We are not a "real time, spammy" community, as most people are in different time zones, work, etc. - coming to read and give thoughts later is very common.

Magorian

Team spam rule, we got all the timezones covered.

Joking aside, I'm really trying to tone it down out of respect for those who don't appreciate the banter. I try to confine it to the Spammaster QT thread now.

Speak of posting, though, I do want to see more from Xardob when he gets home, plus Frislurker and Hawk.

Magorian Aximand 说:
We really should just lynch Hawk for not posting. Can we do it now?

Pharaoh X Llandy 说:
Encore une fois

Happy?

I'd use it as the basis of lynching him later, particularly if he doesn't step up when he returns.

But right now? Nay. Not lynching an afk villager lean no matter how mild the lean.
