[Werewolf: Archives] Werewolf: To Kill a Kingdom - Humans Win!

Space was supposed to be the final frontier.

Relations between Heaven and humanity had never been particularly friendly. Earth was flooded several times, God's son was nailed to a cross, and then God himself perished after a German declared him so not long after. Soon enough the entirety of the planet converted to Chinese, and Humanity spread outwards from Earth to control first the Solar System and then persistently more and more territory until nearly half of the galaxy was under its grasp. Heaven was nearly forgotten, a relic in a far distant past that was more use for ancient historians than for the present.

Heaven itself was decadence. It had degenerated with no strong leadership into a shadow of its former glory. The Archangels ran things from time to time, but the influx of souls soon turned to zero as nobody believed in the ancient religion. Mighty typists throughout the Internet had swayed the majority of Humanity to abandon the old ways.

Soon enough, however, things changed. Humanity's Supernatural Exploration Company managed to find a way to access Heaven, and soon invaded it with all of its futuristic technology. Soon almost all of it was conquered, except for the highest layer - an area surrounded by an impenetrable shield, an area upon which thousands of thousands of human rockets collapsed but did no damage. Try as they might, humanity was unable to conquer the last vestige of supernatural might, and what had seemed like a quick war soon turned into a stalemate.

There was one last trick the Supernatural Exploration Company had up its sleeve, however. They sent a small squadron of their troops into the bastion, disguised as angels. Perhaps it may have worked, but soon enough the presence of fake angels was detected. The suspected angels were soon rounded up and herded into a room, and they were left to themselves to decide who was human and who was holy. And thus the system of voting was established, by which the most suspicious angel would be destroyed forever, so as to make certain the purity of those who remained.

Archangel Michael, however, had other tricks up his sleeve. If only they knew what....

Rules, adapted from Quailover who adapted them from Xardob who borrowed them from Adaham, who borrowed them Ejnomad, here:

General Gameplay and Etiquette:

You may not quote private Moderator-supplied information (either real or fabricated) of any kind.  You may only specifically repeat verbatim the name of your role (found in You are X) and that is it. You may paraphrase your role details, but you may not use any particular words that are used in the role PM.
There is no editing or removing of your posts. Please use the preview feature before you post.
There is to be NO personal communication outside of the forum postings.
If you have a role with a Night action your choices are due to me by the posted deadline.  If I do not receive your choice via PM by the posted deadline you will forfeit your actions.
As a general rule you should aim for one post every 24 hours, minimum, to keep the game moving.

Days:

The formula for day length will be one plus the number of players divided by two, rounded up.

Voting, Deadlines, and Player Death:

A simple majority of all living members must agree on one person for a Lynch to occur (simple majority = ½ # of living players +1, rounded down).
Votes should be bolded or they may not be counted (e.g. Vote:  Player).
Vote revocations should be bolded or they may not be counted (e.g. Unvote: Player or Unvote).  For my sake, please Unvote first before voting. It makes it easier.
You may Vote:  No Lynch - a simple majority of these vote types are required to send the game to Night phase without a Lynch.
Votes/Unvotes that are bolded correctly and are unambiguous (with respect to player nicknames/abbreviations) will count.
If no one has reached a majority of votes at deadline, a No Lynch will occur.
Once you have reached a simple majority no further unvoting will change someone’s fate.
Once a player is lynched the game enters twilight until I post a death scene; the lynched player may not post during twilight but all other living players may continue to post.
Once you are killed (either via lynch or night kill) you may no longer post except for a brief “Bah!”-type post.

Special Rules:

Please PM all issues to me immediately. I do make mistakes. If you have any questions, PM me also.
There are two confirmed factions - the angels, and the humans.
The villagers win when there are no villains left.
The villains win when their group is equal to or outnumbers the rest of the village.
  Actions are done simultaneously.

Your first post should include a vote.

Vote: Kronic

Things to watch on the first day:

Will Grimmend actually play this game? Will Commie (the newbie) and Jock (who is historically bad at surviving the first day) duel it out for the first to be lynched? Will Hawk have learned anything about wolfhunting since the last game? Will Xardob continue his new (what is it, three games old?) play style?

My guess? No, no, no, and yes. But I'd be quite happy if Grimmend and Hawk took the time to prove me wrong.

Vote: Hojo, because the bastard got a job and I didn't.

I expect four humans.

There are two "confirmed" factions, which has me concerned for a potential third party (Hell?).

Frisian is probably evil.

four outta sixteen seems a bit low tbh.

... low? My game of 19 had a total of four baddies, three wolves and a converter.

I don't know the game mechanics (abilities greatly affect balance), but if we use a basic game of WW as our metric, villains should constitute 20-30% of the total players. Four baddies is right in the sweet spot at 16 players (25%), with 3 and 5 being reasonable, though just outside that range (18.75%, 31.25%). If there's a third party, you'd want to low ball that, as the number of villains would grow. Four or five wolves or three wolves and a converter would make the most sense to start. Best to see what the night brings before we play the numbers game though.
